Dante is an awesome character and Dom is just BRINGING it! However how he deals with Sonny will make or break the character. If Dante let's Sonny off the hook or God for bid go to work for him he's DONE like dinner!

Eveything else just felt like filler. I agree the whole ep should have been Dante/Sonny.

If they go the whole trial route it will kill the story. How many Sonny/Jason trial can we have. We all ready know he'll get off!

My Mom mentioned today how bad Jax if looking these days. He's really looking old. The greatest thing he had going for him was his looks and no that their gone what does he bring to the table?

Good episode. (I am shocked how often these days I think that)

I liked the Dante/Sonny scenes, and LLC just made it all come together with the OTT "you just shot your own son!!!"

The christening was weak, and this is squarely due to lack of budget. That church had 3 rows of pews. 15 guests and it was standing room only. One of the great things dramatically about the church is the opulence you get to show (as The Godfather did) to contrast with the low class killers inside pretending they fit right in. That church looked like something more like a mission for the peasants in old California. Jason and Lulu weren't even synchronized in their responses to the priest. This would have been a good time for a location shoot to a real church.

But anyway, I thought it was all interesting for the most part, except it is a real shame Jane gets to say hi but Bobbie doesn't. And without a line of dialogue, I am not sure why Edward or Monica were even included.

I really enjoyed the episode, and I think it gave the show some potential for a good storyline. I just hope that GH doesnt go the way they always have with SOnny shootins/murders...I would rather see something a little different.

First of all, I dont want to see Dante start a relationship with Sonny. I dont want him to leave the cops or become a mobster or anything. I would rather see him still help send him to jail.

I wouldnt mind a trial...but i would like to see Sonny sent to jail. We all know he wont stay there...But i would like to see him in jail just because it would be something diffeent from the rest of his trials.

Sonny in prison would be a natural, and there are so many prison cliches to mine. Sonny would wind up running the place obviously, and there could be rival gangs out to kill him. Then you can add in a prison riot, an innocent prisoner who winds up taking his own life, a corrupt warden and so on, and you have the makings of corny but fun.

Am I the only one that cant stand Olivia? Now that Dom has been revealed, I wouldnt mind if she were killed off bc I dont see her purpose. They've been building her and Sonny up as a potential couple but I cant see them after she betrayed him like this

    • Assuming that Marland had been allowed to write the Carrie story the way he'd envisioned, Millette would've been involved in the story. And she might've played a role in Andy Norris' return (if the speculation on that had ever materialized, and Marland loved bringing back bad boys) But he doesn't seem interested in Sara's personal life. And the women of Springfield could only be analyzed so much.
    • This better be something, because as I said, so far it's just cliches and stereotypes -- the story we've heard a thousand times about the homeless person who doesn't want a home and prefers to live on the streets.
    • @rsclassicfanforever thank you very much for the recent uploads of season 13 containing some episodes that were skipped or glitchy on YouTube!  I had a look at 3172 though and there is no audio for most of it? Would you have a copy with complete audio? Fingers crossed! Thanks again!

    • I like Margaret well enough in what I've seen of her as Paige - she is green but she has real star power.  I agree about the actor who plays Brian. He's...mostly just there. Not bad but not great.  My main issue is with the guy who plays Owen. He's just not appealing to me. I can believe Nola being obsessed with him, but he's draining to watch.  I'm surprised people objected to the quasi-incest elements as it wasn't anything that new for soaps.  Speaking of Kim, here's a rare episode of an anthology show she did called The Evil Touch.

    •   I get what you're both saying, and I think the show was lucky to have even made it that long, but I think they could have still maintained a certain audience - Second Chances did before the earthquake. CBS was an older network anyway. I think the premise of Knots was still usable, it was more the characters who were a problem - many of the older figures were played out. If the show had done a better job building up its younger cast instead of making so many poor choices in the late '80s and early '90s, they could have kept things going a little longer.
    • I wish I cared about the homeless lady as much as everyone else seems to. After the nothing burger that was the lawsuit, this just feels like another boring Naomi storyline at Orphy Genes since she has no office.
    • That's great to hear. Thanks. I wish that was more readily available.
    • Just learned that Clifton Davis wrote this song!  I had no idea.

    • I think even if Marland had wanted to write more for Sara/Adam, his hands would have been tied as Robert Milli was one of the actors dumped by P&G due to his age.  From the bits and pieces I've seen of that period, Sara does have a key role in the Carrie plot, and Marland briefly gave her son Tim a more important part. I'm not sure if they just gave up on Tim once Kevin Bacon left or if they never really cared. I did not even know for many years that there was an actor in the part after Kevin...and then not one, but two. The Spauldingfield video on Tim doesn't even show the last actor (Nigel Reed), which kind of says it all. Anyway, I do get the sense Marland has some use for Sara, or for Millette. It's only after he goes that she is dumped. Of course he didn't ever hire her for his other shows, so maybe I'm wrong. (then again he never hired Geraldine Court either and he seemed very fond of her) Ann is an odd character to me as she is a proto-Lillian in being defined by pining for a Bauer brother and being involved in the death of one of their wives. I do wonder what else they could have done with her. She was friends with Diane, wasn't she? They could have had Diane manipulate her against Mike, I suppose.
