December 10, 200916 yr Member I'm starting to think that within about two years, you are going to be doing ratings for maybe three or four shows
December 10, 200916 yr Member The Young and the Restless, Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives and toss up to General Hospital or One Life to Live.
December 10, 200916 yr Member I really hope OLTL and Days goes up this week. OLTL should be the #1 soap on ABC.. The pacing is great, and having Mitch Lawrence back for a while is must see tv..
December 10, 200916 yr Member I believe you are correct. It's going to come down to only having one Soap on ABC, CBS and NBC. Since, Days is doing extremely well they are a given and the only Soap on NBC. I predict Y&R for CBS and GH for ABC even though OLTL is the best ABC Soap right now. The Young and the Restless, Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives and toss up to General Hospital or One Life to Live. Edited December 10, 200916 yr by amazing7
December 10, 200916 yr Member Ouch. That was a HARSH week for DAYS. What in the world happend?? Congrats to AMC beating GH. WOW. GH is only at 2.4 million viewers and OUCH to AMC being last in 18-49.
December 10, 200916 yr Author Administrator So much for DAYS keeping it close to B&B. Ugh. Looks like we did another big one year arc!
December 10, 200916 yr Member Wow. 0.2 points down. B&B scr*ws everyone over. I remember when GH was close somewhere around MetroCourt and we all know how that ended up. Too bad.
December 10, 200916 yr Member Ouch. That was a HARSH week for DAYS. What in the world happend?? Congrats to AMC beating GH. WOW. GH is only at 2.4 million viewers and OUCH to AMC being last in 18-49. [/quot What is happening to my show, GH. I thought with JJ back, romance would be back. Fire Guza now!!! Bring back Lucy!! the show needs humour
December 10, 200916 yr Member I'm not worried because it was really a bad week across the board and Days would've only lost .1 without Monday and Tuesday. It gained viewers as the week went. I think it will go back up to a 2.1 or better for this week. I think Days was doomed to have a bad week anyway and not much happened last week until the end of the week. Days always has one bad week every now and then and rebounds. It will rebound again. It really hadn't had a bad week the whole Fall. It had a bad few weeks and July and rebounded and will again, especially since we are heading into the time of year Days always does well usually.
December 10, 200916 yr Member Can't touch B&B. The week to week fluctuations are usually random. Days should rebound. GH and OLTL are trending down in their overall audience, but their 18 to 49 women demo is holding as is Y&R's.
December 10, 200916 yr Member LOL...ATWT is cancelled and it's the only soap that went up. Now it's only .2 away from Days which has been soaring......and it isnt the lowest soap in total viewers anymore...
December 10, 200916 yr Member 18-49 is more important for ABC and All My Children than total viewers. They might want to rethink this though because too many men are watching the show to ignore. They need to seek out advertisers from Gillette and Coors Light. Edited December 10, 200916 yr by Jonathan
