Actress Kimberly Matula has been cast in the role of the teenaged "Hope Logan" on The Bold and the Beautiful, Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley P. Bell announced today. "Kimberly is a vibrant and talented young actress," said Bell. "I look forward to seeing her bring Hope to life." Additionally, Bell explains, "Aging the character of Hope to a teenager allows us to bring the next generation of Logans to the forefront, as well as play a broader range of the Forrester vs. Logan story. Hope's presence at Forrester Creations, as well as in Brooke and Ridge's home, sparks an intense competition between Hope and her step-sister Steffy as well as creates new conflict between long-time rivals Brooke and Taylor as each woman is determined to protect her own daughter."

Matula began taping The Bold and the Beautiful on November 19, 2009. Her first airdate is scheduled for January 11, 2010.

WTF? Another SORAS? Can't Bell just stop it already? What, he didn't have enough characters and stories to tell with the current regime?

^ LOL! So true! BTW, she looks gorgeous. Wondering how long before she starts Med School.

Its about time they SORASed Hope. The girl was a child for far too long. Plus I found it ridiculous that Brooke had so many young children.

Thomas.

Isn't Thomas Steffy brother? Or the writers going or say they not related like they did with Ridge & Bridget.

I'll ask the question again. Don't Deacon suppose to be her father? Does that mean they aged the DJ or Eric the 3rd?

Of course not, Little E Three is only 7(if the picture Deacon had on Y&R is any indication), when in real time he'd be 12, because they wouldn't want to make Amber look old.
