Members rsmith2k2
Cheap, the joke is Peyton Place (the old 60s soapy novel and soap opera). I thought the reference funny but random as well, LeClerc. Now will someone please explain the "420" reference for me? I didn't get it.
Members mistydoll74
Scott really needs to look at himself in the mirror. If it weren't for him pushing for that defective heart valve, little Ian's life wouldn't be in danger, Zach wouldn't have come after Adam! Ironically, if Scott hadn't even come back to town, Stuart would be alive! UGH!
Members R Sinclair
420... Pot, grass, weed, blunts, man. Ya dig? Get on that good shizz.
Members Cheap21
I get that it was a reference to Peyton Place but the use of it didnt make sense to me. Were any of the actors in that scene on that show? Did Pratt write or have anything to do with it? Was Peyton Place a show revolving around cops? It seemed way too random and I didnt get if there was some behind the scenes reason for it
Members LeClerc
I don't get it either but there had to have been some joke to it. Or maybe Joanna Cohen was high? My first thought when I heard it was Jamie Luner was on Peyton Place. But of course that's wrong. She played Peyton on Savannah.
Members SFK
David Canary was on Peyton Place, but was he even in the scene you're talking about, and is anyone behind the scenes even aware of that?
Members rsmith2k2
Canary wasn't in the scene. I would be surprised if the connection to DC had anything to do with the reference, which as Cheap has suggested seemed sort of random. I think it was just a clunky jokey reference to the upcoming soapy hijinx getting ready to happen at Kat's boarding house. Who knows though seems like there's been a bit of unusal references this eppy. Maybe LeClerc was right and
