Members Jonathan
Well she could pursue other work if she was recurring. That's what Chrishell is looking to do. But yeah, having a contract would be great security for her.
Members R Sinclair
Why offer a contract now? The show's moving to Los Angeles -- not switching to CBS where they allow actors over 35 to have contracts.
Members rsmith2k2
Opal staying on makes me happy. I do think it Jonathan could be correct if they're not offering her contract status, just recurring that would be something Jill Larson could help her get by as she auditioned for other, more numerous projects in LA. Maybe Jill Larson still needs to work. *shrugs* I miss Opal and Erica's friendship quite a bit. I imagine Pratt has Martin bonding time in line for Opal though. Members Kubla Khan
GladGirl, I heard that all of the producers (de Cazotte, Smith, Aronson, Dolce) are moving to LA. Stage managers Fritz Brekeller and Penny Bergman are LA bound, as well. Haven't heard anything about the directors.
Members R Sinclair
Didn't Brekeller get a shout out in a script a few episodes back?

Members EricMontreal22
Thrilled and pleasantly surprised about Opal. Pratt does seem to like her--I was worried with her gone we'd lose the last of the classic eccentric character roles AMC used to be so well known for--and without who the show really becomes pretty dreary and same-ey. Members R Sinclair
Everyone maligns the Rayfield/Cascio six month stint, but that was truly the last time we had these so-called eccentric character roles: Kenny Adler, Rosemary Chicken, Lysistrata Schwartz and Simone Torres's running gag of coming up with crazy plots that saved Fusion but also got her arrested by Officer Lyman. McTavish came on, wiped them all out, marginalized (then killed) Simone and made the show nothing but angst, misery, depression and turmoil... which set the tone for present day. Members DRW50
I liked some of that era. I was just bothered at the time by Trey being written out, and some of the generally uninspired characters and stories. Certainly, compared to most of what have had since then, it was generally decent. It's hard to believe Fusion has been around for seven damn years now... If they want to get rid of sets, they need to burn Fusion down to the ground.
Members R Sinclair
That fake ass cosmetics company should've been the first to get hit by the tornado. That way, if we had to suffer through that 10 day dance marathon (I can't believe it was only ten days), we could've at least had it set in the Valley Inn. Who the hell hosts a dance marathon in a cosmetics company office space?! What the hell happened to the Valley Inn sets? Were they destroyed at the altar of one of the ugliest sets in the history of this show... The Casino? I hope once TK and that smug sonofabitch Zach leave, that casino with its ugly ass wallpaper go with them!
