I can't imagine that TPTB at AMC/ABC are running around right now trying to get a list together yelling "The fans! The fans! We must get this information out to our loyal fans right away!"

LMAO! The visual on that is hysterical!

I really don't see there being an official list being put out. Why would they? SOD is implying that negotiations will continue until the last minute (December) with some stars, so there must be some big names that have not said "yes" yet. They aren't going to put out a press release if they can't put Susan Lucci or David Canary or probably even Alicia Minshew's name on it.

No, they're yelling, "Jonathan! Jonathan! We must let Jonathan know right away!"

They said they had until the 8th to make their decision. I'm totally not surprised that some took that and ran with it, thinking that it was going to be announced by 6:00am this morning and expected a full detailed account of not only who is going or staying but why they made that decision...

I mean, damn! Considering people have already predicted the death of the show three minutes after the relocation was announced, does it really matter anymore?

DC has a report regarding a supposed meeting between Frons, Carruthers, and La Lucci in NY this week concerning La Lucci's future with the show. I'm taking this news with a grain of salt but nevertheless, I have butterflies in my stomach.

Okay so David Canary's daughter has stated on twitter that her parents will be heading out to LA "temporarily, thanks to contractual obligation"

Contractual obligation?

Not like it was totally unexpected, since he also works for OLTL, but We Love Soaps interviewed Roget Mooney after his win at the Creative Arts Emmy's, and he said he won't be going to LA and will no longer be designing sets for the show.

Should be interesting to see who replaces him, will AMC and GH possibly share a set/scenic designer?

I will be forever grateful to Mooney for the changes he made to the SOS set when he first joined the show. The original SOS looked like vomit with some Christmas tree tinsel on top. Ugliest set I have ever seen.

Maybe ABC doesn't want to release him until his contract is indeed expired. Since ABC is obligated to pay these contracts until a cycle ends or the contract expires, they probably want to get the most out of his time.

Can't a contract be broken at any time, even in the middle cycle, as long as both parties agree to it? I figured that's what they would be doing here.

Well we know Adam will be around past January but, from the sounds of it, not for long.

 That's what came to my mind also. Is this the daughter that he was/is estranged with?

It can if ABC wants to pay a lump sum and buy him out. Cycles/Options are installed in contracts so the network has an escape hatch to get rid of the performer without having to buy them out.

"My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night."

I'm not saying to put him down definitively as going or not going, but it's his freaking daughter. Someone asked her if her parents still intend to go to LA and she responded that they were, but only temporarily. I don't see why that's not worthy of a mention here. It's not some message I saw in my alphabet soup.
