December 15, 200916 yr Member You didn't know they had a daughter named Sabrina? Actually, to me she looks more like Bill... Don't know really. Actually, she looks like Brad. If I were Bill, I'd be askin' questions. Yeah, I went there.
December 15, 200916 yr Member You didn't know they had a daughter named Sabrina? LOL. I knew they procreated, but I didn't know their kids names. I guess she's the future boss, since the Bells are so "committed" to their soaps.
December 15, 200916 yr Member Her nose and smile (cheekbones in particular)scream Maria to me... She's got those slightly cross-eyed Brad eyes, too. I think she looks very Bell. She could pass for Lauralee when she's older. LOL, if Y&R's lucky enough to be still around, maybe MAB will pull another historical slight-of-hand and Sabrina can be Cricket 2.0 in 10 years time.
December 15, 200916 yr Member The best thing about that photo is knowing how much money she spent to look like a fool.
December 15, 200916 yr Member Just like the white winged dove... Sings a song Sounds like she's singing! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! *twirl*
December 15, 200916 yr Member Oh, put them away, Maria! And Britney called. She wants her wig back. Since Maria said she is a two-time cancer survivor (per her CBS.com or sony.com interview on Lily's cancer), I'm very afraid that that is a cancer wig. No matter what anyone thinks around here, I'm guessing we're all united in hoping she is healthy. If not, that might explain some of the inattention and lack of control that folks here feel they have observed from their headwriter. ETA: I'm noticing she wore the same wig at the MOCA gathering a while back. I'm seriously worried that she's had a recurrence, which is not happy news for anyone. December 15, 200916 yr Member Cancer or no cancer, she has money and clearly cares about how she looks. She can afford a good wig and therefore should wear one. There is nothing wrong with wearing wigs, but it bothers me when rich people have terrible wigs and weaves. You're spending so much money for stuff that looks like you got it at Dollar General. Drag queens have better hair than Maria and most drag queens are broke!
December 15, 200916 yr Member Mark, where is that other pic? http://www.theyoungandtherestless.com/specials/specials_detail_5018.html
December 15, 200916 yr Member Of course being a soap fan, if I say won the lottery I'd do it. I don't know if I'd pick up one of these awful soaps, but I'd spend enough money to do a proper primetime soap and pitch it to SOAPnet. I'd be willing to invest in a show like Gotham and hire some real writers to flesh the series out. With money and experienced crew I think that has potential. I also would give popular scribes like Claire Labine a chance to get their failed soaps off the group. Then SOAPnet could air it and we'll see what happens. Well, a primetime series is a different thing. I agreed with everything you said until you mentioned Labine.
December 15, 200916 yr Member That's from the same gala. Yes, I saw that. I was surprised, because I knew the MOCA gala was a month ago. Why are the pictures showing now? I can't find earlier events with the wig. So, time will tell whether this was a one-time fashion statement, or something less frothy. I wish her health and well being.
December 15, 200916 yr Member Yes, I saw that. But you said a while back, which I thought meant other MOCA gala. I was surprised, because I knew the MOCA gala was a month ago. Why are the pictures showing now? Surprised at what? And I don't understand the last question. Edited December 15, 200916 yr by Sylph

And as a child of a cancer survivor, I didn't even realize. Boy am I dumb. And it goes without saying... whatever my disillusionment with a piddly soap opera, I would never wish this terrible illness on anybody. Certainly not on Maria Arena Bell. I can only hope the wig signifies recuperation and not recurrence. Maybe even just a dress-up moment. My mother's hair has returned (and very fetchingly, too) but sometimes she trots out the wig because it makes her look so different.
