Colleen may have returned to our screens this past week on The Young and the Restless, but a source close to Tammin Sursok is saying her stay won't be a long one.

"Tammin has been let go from The Young and the Restless," says the source. 'She's been really busy with a lot of other projects, so it's been hard for the soap to write her in. "

Sursok is currently filming Flicka 2, directed by Michael Damian (ex-Danny, Romalotti, The Young and the Restless), and is slated to appear in a sequel to Nickelodeon's Spectacular! entitled Spectacular 2: The Dream Continues.

Now word yet on how Colleen will be written out, but the role reportedly won't be recast.

Oh my.... so I suspect this is the spoiler Turner was talking about. I won't be sad to see the actress gone if it's true, but by God if they destroy the character as well.....

If they go through with this death without recasting or writing Colleen off, alive, there will be hell to pay.

It would be ANOTHER death, but also the DEATH of a CORE character. This crappy writing regime that runs Y&R right now probably couldn't care any less though.

I may not like Tammin in this role, but Colleen is a vital character and she should be recast. There's no reason for killing off this character, if they're going to do so.

And I wouldn't be surprised if Maria and Company read this board and took all the Tammin hate for Colleen hate and decided that none of us liked or realized the importance of that character and decided to kill her off.

Either recast Colleen and write her true to character or send her to live with Traci in New York. Simple as that.

Those who run Y&R no longer care about legacy characters or about core families. There are no longer any families on Y&R. There are showponies and airhogs and no one else. They would rather just add another body to the pyre for shock value. The most pathetic part is they killed off her father and did NOTHING with his death. Now we will get the same.

Bill Bell would be ashamed of this storytelling.

This makes me very angry. Colleen is very important to the next generation of this show. She is Tracy's only child for pity's sake. Why not just bring AL back which is what so many of us wanted.
