I have been calling for cast paring, but in Noah's life, the only deaths I want are Eden and maybe aunt Victoria. Except even for aunt Victoria, I want another coma (loooooooooooooong one, resulting in a recast) before I want a death.

close to Noah? Nick, Sharon, Victoria, Nikki, Victor, Daniel, Summer, Eden... perhaps Lauren, Michael, JT, Ashley, Abby, Adam too. From that all i can forsee is Nikki or Summer.

It's obviously Nikki, we already know that she's being written out and this seems to line up with that.

I hope this is what they do. Nikki leaving will be the last nail in the coffin for the Newman family, but if she's going to go, then at least don't make it permanent.

This show has a sick fascination with death, especially this writing regime and it usually has little to NO fallout.

If it's Nikki and Melody re-signed, we know she's coming back though...

This is ridiculous how every year a Newman is presumed dead. Why can’t Nikki just say, I’ve had enough of you guys, I’ll be on sabbatical. Or have her go and help Cassey again. If I was rich like her, I'd leave town yearly to go on a cruise, or European vacations.

Who tampered with the plane that "killed" Nick, and why? I don't want an answer, necessarily...but it bothers me that even Y&R now treats death as a temporary inconvenience. Y&R was the only soap that didn't do that (except, I guess, for Malcolm...and Kay after her two previous "presumed" deaths [Jamaica and sanitarium]). Well, and I guess Victor's presumed deaths count too....
