Members j swift
The 2006 Vendatta plot "Passions Vendetta started with Whitney Russell planning on becoming a nun she was in the Convent where she is hurting her self Her half brother Chad is trying to get her to stop because he is still in love with her but Whitney will not live in a life of sin so she gets Chad to leave and she goes into the Chapel and prays when she sees a bright light and it talks to her. The voice says it’s god and it has a mission for her. The story progressed and it turned out that it was a Monk who talked to god and is sent to keep her on her mission. Her Mission is to go to Rome and in the Vatican to get a Chalice. So she and the Monk head of to Rome." Sorry, the grammar in my post might have confused that it was a story about the Pope and Whitney in a relationship. In fact, it was a story about the Pope which involved Whitney Edited January 7, 2024 by j swift

Members slick jones
When this show premiered I had hoped it wouldn't be a trainwreck, but once Josh Ryan Evans passed, I found it completely unwatchable.
Members AMCOLTLLover
I feel those sentiments.. I was a child and kept watching coz they all looked so pretty in that show.. But even as a young boy who liked science fiction series and comic books this nonsense became quite hard to stomach lol
Members LostinHarmony
This month marked the show's 25th anniversary Please register in order to view this content man time flies. I must admit, I was addicted as a teen when I discovered it in 2000, a year after it premiered. It was the Prom Boat Disaster where they spoofed Carrie and I was intrigued by Tabitha and Timmy and Charity possessed by the evil pendant. Not to mention a shirtless Jesse Metcalfe and Galen Gering made me realize some things about myself during that time haha. I think a lot of the cult following was from younger folks which is why there is suddenly a resurgence online of people in nostalgia over the soap, we're now the age the show needed during that time which is trippy to think about. Sure, looking back on it, it was a bit silly, but it's the thing that got me into soaps and will always hold a special spot for me. Reading old ratings reports, its not surprising Passions excelled in the 12-17 demo. The show gets a lot of hate (some of it warranted,) but I wanted to show love for it. Here's a clip from Access Hollywood in 1999 previewing the soap. I've since caught up on the first year I missed via Youtube. Members AMCOLTLLover
Despite its flaws the cast did great with the stuff thrown at them and it wasn’t all bad. Happy 25th anniversary

Members DRW50
That's very sad. I know how JER valued his priest characters so he must have respected French for him to last the run of the show. I'm sorry to his loved ones but I am glad his struggle is over. Members AbcNbc247 Posted yesterday at 08:51 AM Members Share Posted yesterday at 08:51 AM RIP Bruce French And also an example that proves that just because something is campy doesn’t mean it has to be a big stupid joke Please register in order to view this content
