It's the preferred method for most of the world! Email, text... Are you still one of those "phone" fans???

 No, I didn't mean it that way! But I can totally see how it turned to be interpreted like that!

A cell phone call would be perhaps the most instantaneous way: I mean, if I just got the info about my nom, I would speed dial her and chat with her about it. An email, too can be seen the moment it's sent, but it's just that in case of a nom talk, I would prefer to talk, live voice... Both of them have Blackberries so they migh've exchanged them that way.

Not to say anything about family lunches and all... :P

Dude is the Ron Howard of Daytime. What a hack. Still, I will give him and Michael Fairman credit for making me want to tune back into B&B for the first time in MONTHS.

BTW, who was the blonde lady cutting the cake with the cast?

I think that is Supervising Producer Rhonda Friedman...the one who is having to pay ex-husband John Castellanos alimony...and hates him for it.

BTW Sylph, you are driving me crazy. Where on earth did you find singer Christos Cholidis????? :D

:P:lol: A friend suggested his latest CD

so I just Googled to see who's this guy and I found this cover. I like the look in his eyes, I generally pick avatars based on that.

You know who he is?

Maria sent him an email... That's their preferred way of communication?

One of them. Last week whilst watching Y&R I had - once again - a sudden and strong B&B vibe (Camp galore at the Cayman Islands...) which had Bradley written all over it. Me thinks the two of them are talking shop every once in a while and co-influencing each other.

This is indeed Rhonda Friedman and on the right there is senior producer Ron Waever.

Both are responsible that B&B is in such a good financial state and for it's top-nothc production values.

    • Oh, how I laughed at that.   You're not. Some people have been saying the same. And Twitter definitely has been arguing that very point along with the potential return of Mary to SLC given she skipped the second season reunion. It sets a standard and people are going to wonder...especially the housewives themselves.   Perhaps he will ask on that one on one. Please register in order to view this content
    • We can also add Amelia Heinle (Victoria, Y&R; Steffi, Loving/The City), who acted with Debbi and Darnell on both soaps. Billy Miller/Jeff Branson/Elizabeth Hendrickson/Eden Riegel (Richie/Jonathan/Maggie/Bianca, AMC; Billy/Ronan/Chloe/Heather, Y&R) You can swap out Eden for Melissa Claire Egan (Annie, AMC; Chelsea, Y&R). They almost overlapped as well.
    • A couple of thoughts on today's episode: 1. The whole BLQ scene seemed like a rerun of Friday's episode.  I know soaps like to repeat scenes so that viewers can keep up with the story, but I actually had to check the date to see if I wasn't watching the prior show. 2.  Liz exiting the scene with Finn to go to the wedding rehearsal was amusing.  First because it was like she was saying 'I am going to turn myself into the police, but first I must go to this rehearsal for a wedding that I'm not going to be able to attend if I'm arrested.'  And second, why are they still having the rehearsal an hour after Britt's memorial service?  Talk about day-to-night, how does one figure out what to wear for a day when they're going from work to a funeral to a wedding rehearsal? 3.  Laura still blames herself for not being around to raise to Nikolas?   He's been in Port Charles since 1996, 27 years, more than half his life.  She's had plenty of time to be a good influence since then...

    • I cannot remember who began to HW when Pete left. Have to look it up. Maybe Tom King. But, I just figure that with Pete leaving the first sign of slippage in the ratings they would have predictably panicked. And, panic tends to bring CHANGE! Let me go look that up.  AW Mon., Mar. 5, 1979 2:30-4 1 hr to 90 min. When Lemay could not stand writing the 90 min. show is when he quit AW. It was Fred Silverman's idea & Paul Rauch jumped on it agreeing with Silverman. He & Pete fought, bitterly. AT first Pete stayed even though he was against it, but then he became exhausted & quit & wrote his scathing book.  AW Mon., Aug. 4, 1980 2-3 bk to 1 hr. Yes, Tom King & then Soderburg joined him as co-HW.
