Wouldn't it be great if Netflix financed a limited run, say 100 episodes, of AW and ATWT combined? I know it's been brought up before. What was our title for it...As Another World Turns?

No, if Netflix could finance the return of any soap, P&G or otherwise, it'd should be EON. I've said it before, but that soap in particular had a premise that could work in any era and on any viewing platform.

I think AW could also adapt pretty well to modern times, due to the friendship over family aspect, and I think Schnetzer, Beverly Penberthy, etc. would be great in supporting roles as mentor figures.

It's a nice dream, anyway...

In the above photograph, Joseph Gallison resembles (somewhat) actor Mark Arnold (The Edge of Night, One Life to Live, serials Rituals and Santa Barbara).

Thanks again for sharing those clippings. Carol Roux is one of those daytime players of the past I've always been curious about, especially since she just seemingly dropped off the radar screen early on.

I do vaguely remember Carol Roux. Missy and Bill were a very popular couple. I had a co-worker who was named Melissa after Carol's character.

This article is also from May 1965.

Not that she wasn't when she got older, but Jacquie was quite a looker as a teen.

I finally found the scenes on YouTube where all the citizens of Bay City show up at the Cory Mansion to celebrate Mac's birthday in May, 1987, only to be trapped in the mansion during a thunderstorm with the Sin Stalker:
