I have a question about The Maggie recasts

Robyn Griggs was fired in 1995 because she was pictured with John Wayne Bobbit

 

Jodi Lyn O'Keefe was replaced for the following reasons

1) She booked Nash Bridges but 

2) AW was thinking she was too young. She was 16 when cast but playing college aged

 

Julie Nathanison (Blonde Maggie) Sept 1996

Filled in because Lisa D Brenner's Dad had died

 

I do not understand writing out Maggie in NOV 1996

Did Lisa want out or was she let go?

Did Mary ever recover her memory? I thought they avoided dealing with any of that by keeping her in a state of amnesia.

I'm pretty sure she got her memory back, and that she and her husband left town shortly thereafter.

I think she was let go. There were a lot of firings when Charlotte Savitz came in.

Inspired by this post I went back through the AW home page.  John left in 1997, but his exit story is not covered in detail in the synopsis.  Kirkland had just been hit by a car driven by Paulina, while she was addicted to drugs.  John diagnosed that Paulina was an addict, while Shane did the surgery on Kirkland.  Meanwhile Felicia broke up with John to be with Alexander (the nefarious Lucas look alike), and Michael is busy with Nick's trial for Toni's rape.

On John's final air date, the synopsis includes one sentence that John, Michael, and Felecia bond over his kindness.  But, what was his exit story?

I also seem to remember that Morgan Winthrop just disappeared from Bay City around the time of Toni's rape trial, does anyone recall the details of his exit?

I don't think he had one. He just disappeared. And I think the same thing happened to Morgan. He left in 1996 though, and I'm pretty sure he was the first exit under Charlotte Savitz.

I don't remember him even really being mentioned again.
