If anybody wants to see non-stop criticism of the Y&R, or ANY show for that matter, I direct you to The Television Without Pity boards.

She slayed Kristoff. She handed him his ASS, and I hope he actually came prepared that day on set. Like I said, best performance thus far this year in daytime (and unfortunately it will go unnoticed).

But you know what...even if he wasn't "prepared"...just reacting...she gave him everything he needed. He played passive and stunned and self-loathing I guess. But she was ON FIRE.

I'm hoping someone hires her and lets her play what she is capable of.

After that interview? I think not.

Or the Genoa City News. No, SON is balanced and usually pretty smart. That is why I enjoy it.

That's just on some blogger's podcast. Nobody listens to those. Ask Ms. Rowell.

Actually, I tend to believe Adam is faking his blindness. Even if he isn't, though, there's no question in my mind that either he, or he and Estella, or even he, Estella and Rafe, are behind Ashley's "gaslighting".

How interesting would it be, too, if 1) Adam's blindness were permanent, and not conveniently reversed down the road b/c the writers are tired of writing for someone w/ a disability; and 2) he were a villain who just happened to be without sight? Frankly, the fact that we should be sympathetic toward him because he is blind, is an outmoded way of thinking in my book.

Personally i hope he is faking. I think it would be a brilliant twist if Adam faked his blindness to get out of prison and now he is plotting revenge against Victor and Jack. The gaslighting of Ashley confuses me. I can see why Adam would be behind it, obviously to get back at Victor and/or jack. But Estella's part makes no sense. Why does she dislike Ashley? Is there some hidden backstory the viewers aren't aware of yet. It'll be interesting to see how MAB handles it.

I'll be happy just to see these people have a genuine storyline again (...and to see Thad Luckinbill half-naked).

JT has been in dire need of a storyline. His marriage to Victoria is a snoozefest.

Now, I agree with you about no one being portrayed favorably in this storyline; but, I sincerely doubt the writers know from one bed-hop to the next where to take it, or how it all will end. More so than your average Y&R male character, Nick, IMO, is flip-flopping way too much between Sharon and Phyllis. That kinda says to me one person wants the triangle to go one way, while another one wants it to go the other. Of course, YMMV.

I think its clear Sharon and Nick are endgame but it could be years before they get there. However I'm still not convinced that once Nick & Sharon reunite, Phyllis will be completely out of the picture. I see this triangle going the way of Ridge/Brooke/Taylor on B&B. That merry-go-round has been going on for over an decade now.

Word to all that. If you want to label me racist, go ahead; but I'd rather have no Blacks on this show than ones as boring as these.

They need to cut their losses with Tyra and Ana. If they want to save the Winters family they can start by bringing Malcolm and Drucilla back. Malcom and Drucilla really brought fire to Neil and Olivia who were otherwise dull.

Since i doubt SM and VR will come back recast them. I also think they should bring Nate Jr. back.

Those are two fierce women that we lost.

And now we got Eva...:wacko:

Ms. Rowell had a decade in this demanding and unrewarding industry to back it up. Nia Peeples has a creaky resume barely fit for I Love The 80s at this point. Maybe she can do DVD commentaries for Walker. Or, of course, Deep Star Six.

Still waiting, Sylph.

Did these people even read the subject of this thread? You have 17+ pages of Y&R raving per week!

Keep this going, please. I will more than happily respond.

Again, why is Y&R the only show we are not allowed to bitch about, even when someone starts a thread specifically to that end?

Really? People are not allowed to bitch about Y&R? See Mark's post: http://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/index.p...st&p=711030

So please stop constantly saying Y&R is the only show people aren't allowed to bitch about because it's totally false.

Also, people are allowed to having opposing opinions in DTS. If you only want a one-sided discussion, there's the love/hate forum.

Why does [Estella] dislike Ashley? Is there some hidden backstory the viewers aren't aware of yet.

I think it has to do with Sabrina, and the fact that Ashley so quickly "usurped" her "rightful" place as mistress of Victor's manor. More than likely, too, we'll learn down the road that Rafe and Estella were her (Sabrina's) bio mom and half-brother, but that's only speculation.

I see [Nick/Phyllis/Sharon] going the way of Ridge/Brooke/Taylor on B&B.

Oh, God, I hope not.

You're not sentimental enough for this, but I'm starting to fall in love...

You missed the final thing I said: I still participate. That means actually talk and exchange decent discourse. I may be an [!@#$%^&*], but I like to think I am not a bully.

BTW, just to be helpful, here's where we left off. You said you thought TV wasn't worth it anymore. I said:

Then why do you keep asking the questions of other people, if it's not just to vent frustration at them for liking something you don't?

Vee, if I say: I have the other slipper, do you know what I'm referring to and how it ties to the "subtlety"?
