She must have something on someone to get to keep a paying soap role while the show itself basically seems to be saying, please...go, be a big star and leave on your own accord.

Hmmm...the first Flicka movie (which was actually a remake from the 1943 version of "My Friend Flicka" with Roddy McDowell- pretty good movie btw) was really really bad...rented it & could barely get through it- for a lot of reasons. (Mostly bad writing and stupid stuff about horses. LOL)

Don't really see this as a "big jump into films" for Tammin.

They really need to move thstory along & if she's not going to be around...well...maybe they need to recast. I liked Adrianne Leon... liked her on GH,too.

I am almost 100% certain this will be direct-to-DVD, don't you think?

Wasn't Damian's Moondance Alexander direct to DVD?

Before y'all get dialing to your local Blockbuster in order to pre-reserve a copy B) might I suggest you pick up the original book "My Friend Flicka"? Especially if you have kids. It's a lovely read. The 1940s film was pretty good, too.

Oh well, who cares?

Exactly! Its obvious Colleen is just being kept around for continuity purposes...... so what does it matter.

There was a TV series in the 50's that I recall, too. Not sure if its on Youtube....

The original star was not a girl but a boy. I hated the change they made to make it "modern".

Yeah..the book was excellent!

It's a sad day when a Y&R doesn't want to see a character like Colleen on their screens. To be fair, it seems like that character exited a long time ago. This is a Latham recast that needs to be dealt with.

For me, the character left with Leon. MAB seems to be slowly getting rid of Latham's creations er blunders but she needs to deal with this one last year.

Sweetie. Go chase your star in films!

And then Y&R should go cap-in-hand -- and one HUGE apology -- to Adrianne Leon.

Unfortunately, she is on contract until June 2010 and she has yet to book a gig that will get her off sooner rather than later. At this point, I wonder if Adrianne would even consider it... doubtful!

How TF did she get a 5 or 6 year contract?

The simple fact that someone was hired by Latham is not reason enough to fire them. You seem to forget that your beloved Vail was also a Latham hire.

Quit the Australian racism, you'll. LOL!

That was completely uncalled for.
