Another DAYS Star To Exit

Leann Hunley (Anna, DAYS), who returned to Salem in June 2007 after a 21-year absence — and has had precious little screen time lately — is out. The actress posted the news in her guest book: "Hello Darlings! I worked my last day on DAYS today ... Anyway, THANK YOU for all your sweet wishes and support over the last year and a half. I had a wonderful time bringing Anna back to life and will miss 'her' more than just a little." Hunley's exit will coincide with co-star Thaao Penghlis's (Tony).

too bad she's not even on in the build up to and during tony's death. no goodbye scene for them

So un-surprising that I thought she had long been confirmed as leaving. I thought that she and Thaao were shown the door together.

She didn't have a contract anyway. They never gave her one and it was obvious they only used her due to Thaao's insistence and trying to appease him when he returned.

I loved her but this isn't a surprise to me.

She's not really leaving, and if she didn't publicize it Days probably never would have because she was not obligated to the show and they weren't to her without a contract.

When was the last time she was even on?? No biggie.

Not a shocker...too bad, because Leann is a fantastic actress.

Who's next? Renee Jones?

Not major news nor shocking, but disappointing nonetheless. Leann Hunley is phenom and it was fabulous having Anna back for the time we did. Thank you Hogan Sheffer!

If any ex-Days star ever went to Y&R or B&B the one I would wish for is Leann Hunley. She is a perfect actress for either show. She has talent but not only that she is just the type of actress that would look good and truly benefit either show.

I would love LeAnn to land on another soap soon. I never saw much of her on DAYS but what I did see, I liked. It would be nice to see her on one of the Bell soaps, I think she'd fit in.
