OLTL: Discussion for the week February 16

I guess you missed the period from a few years ago when all OLTL did was murder mysteries. I think they had like 5 or 6 seperate murder/serial killing stories within the span of almost 2 and a half years

And all of them were designed to provide mega frontburner story for McBain. The most unheroic hero ever written in any work of fiction.

At least no major characters have died so far (like poor Gabrielle snuffed in the toilet). However, I'd rather have seen Wes live over John or Todd.

I don't think any major characters are going to die during this story (at least I hope not!). But after Wes, who is the next logical victim?!

Was Wes on I Wanna Be a Soap Star? Is that where I know him from?

Oh David Vickers, you lovable fool, LOL! Why would he trust Dorian? The woman was willing to leave him penniless and on the streets to get him out of Addie's life. She tormented him. Maybe he'll sign everything over to the Buchanans, at some point, or maybe he'll turn out not to be Asa's after all.

Can A "Shithole" Rod just STFU already?!

OMG, it just ended! Yay! Now I can watch OLTL. Alex Rodriquez was interrupting my soaps with his news conference.

Drunken Buchanans are great.

And the real David Vickers is back!

I was worried about David for a while. He needed to snap out of it and he finally did. "Get the hell out of my house!" If only he was shirtless wearing that cowboy hat!" He knows his ties too. :D

I loved the structure of today's show in the way they showed everybody's night before as flashbacks. Very clever! I love that the real David is back! LOL at him at the end of the show.

And is it just me or is HBS looking really good these days?

I hated today's show. I thought it was boring and didnt care for the flashback layout. Where are Natalie/Jared. Id rather watch them and her feud with Messica

It depends on the motivation of the killer. If RC wants to make this storyline interesting he should get rid of some of the dead weight with this storyline.

Now see I like it.

The episode reminded me of the comedy "Grounded for Life," which ran on FOX in the early part of this decade. They did a lot of flashback stuff to explain how things happened. I thought it was something different and refreshing.

I also liked the Buchanan's getting drunk and hungover, and David putting on the cowboy hat, and then telling his newfound family to "Get the hell out of his house!"

Who is this macadamia Barbara? Have we seen her before?

Okay, isn't The Intruder no longer in existence as it became THE SUN!? Well I guess someone else could have bought the rights to the name...
