Okay, so we have: - first time writer - entered daytime in 1985 (100% sure it's 1985?) - we would recognize the name - not from the Bell universe - has CBS ties (meaning she worked for a CBS soap, right) That's brilliant!!!! Is it too much for me to hope she would resist that schmalzy over-the-top-ness that B&B seems to inculcate? I'd rather see Byrne on canvas, but there is NO ROOM for her on B&B.
