That doesn’t necessarily mean they’re never coming back though. The website for the Domestic Policy Council is also down and we know it’s going to live on in under Trump. Members DRW50 Posted January 21, 2017 Members Share Posted January 21, 2017 (edited) In the case of Brexit a lot of the attention went to the Farage hysteria about borders and Syria, but a lot of the everyday job losses that likely tipped votes involved voters who resented many from places like Poland and other Baltic states that have become such a part of the UK in the last few decades. They were also subject to intense harassment post-Brexit, they were told "We're sending you back," and so on. It was a mirror of what happened in the US where a lot of anti-Trump attention mostly went to saying "racist" or "you hate women" without enough time addressing the other economic fears that led many into the voting booth.
