As of right now, we have a $250 million deficit and every plan that our state legislature has come up with has been voted down, with Governor Mary Fallin threatening to hold the special session until Christmas if that's what it will take. The issue? All proposed remedies favor the energy industry (who LOVES Governor Fallin, who loves them right back), while everything and everyone else, if certain Republican congressmen have their way, will be taxed into the poorhouse.
