OK ,in addition to lackluster writing, some of The Colby's casting was not up to snuff.

Who could you suggest as Jason,Frankie ,Bliss and any other roles you think were miscast?

Going by the ages of the actors cast in 85

Jason early 60's in 85

I'm thinking Sam Wanamaker (Berrengers) as a possibility.

Frankie 45 Yvette Mimieux? also starred in Berrengers.

Bliss 20 Mary Beth Evans? Chatherine Mary Stewart?

I thought that Suzanne Pleshette should have been cast on a prime time soap during the 80's. Maybe as Frankie or better yet a first ex wife of J.R. on Dallas pre-Sue Ellen.

Jason: Dean Jones, Rod Taylor, William Holden (If he had lived).

Frankie: Lynn Redgrave

Bliss: Amanda Wyss

You can buy it incredibly cheaply at shouttv.com

Maybe $60-$80? It's worth it to own it in good (not HD) quality AND for the recaps before each episode which the Dynasty sets didn't include. It's one of my prized DVD collections. I know some people don't like to buy art anymore but, if you're interested, Shout TV does great work getting shows that would never see the light of day be remastered and put into a DVD boxset.

Thank you. Unfortunately I have gotten rid of my DVD player because most everything I had on DVD I am able to stream.

I understand many people are doing that; however, that means you have to rely that what you're streaming will always be available. TV shows/films/concerts/documentaries get pulled from streaming services all the time. If there's something you love and want to make sure you can see whenever you want, it's impossible to count on streaming. Especially for older shows from the 60s/70s/80s. Someone had posted The Colbys to YouTube several years ago but it got taken down for copyright reasons.

Pay special attention to Barbara's last comments.

I love her last five statements/comments. Send them to Ron Carlivati, Josh Griffith and Bradley Bell.

Scoggins should have been the replacement for Pamela Sue Martin when she left.

I don't see that myself personally, as much as I like ms Scoggins.

Me neither.

Aaron Spelling agreed with you. They chose Emma Samms.

Speaking of the Colby's...for some reason every time Shanna Reed appeared in scenes I was distracted by looking at her nose.
