Dancing with the Stars Season 7

  • Members

So season 7 begins September 22nd, and I the cast will be revealed on Aug 25th. But sources says Tom Selleck will be on this season ( YAY! Thank you Steve Guttenberg!), along with Toni Braxton and Lance Bass. Read something about Cybill Shepherd too...

Also read Kim Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner will be on (yuck). Tara Reid has been denied several times since they find her not family friendly. LMAO

Anyway, I can't wait for the new season to start and the news about Tom Selleck was just the icing on the cake. I was kind of bummed about the cast last season, so I hope this "rumor" turns out to be true.

Susan is dancing the paso doble next week. I think this will be a good dance for her.

I think if susan does good she will be safe next week. But cloris, she basically got dragged around the dancefloor this week by clorky and she wasn't even in the bottom 2 this week. So susan better make sure she at least tries to get a 25 or better.

Yeah, I don't see how the judges can justify Cloris's score. She just looks so confused when she's out there and it looks like Corky has to help her regroup each time.

Interesting behind-the-scenes tidbit about DWTS - apparently, Susan Lucci is NOT amused by Cloris Leachman:

While there's been lots of buzz about Cloris Leachman generated by Sun-Times colleague Miriam DiNunzio's ''Dancing With the Stars'' posts on the TV blog on our Web site, I can tell you first-hand there's even more controversy behind-the-scenes on the Hollywood set of the hit ABC show.

It's not merely that everyone there is astonished the 82-year-old Chicago native has survived in the competition this long -- it's her over-the-top brassiness and in-your-face humor that has everyone upset.

''We thought it would be fun to have Cloris on ... and expected her to maybe make it through one or two weeks. But now it's gone from people being amused -- similar to the way it was with Jerry Springer -- to being downright concerned,'' said a staffer who has been with ''Dancing With the Stars'' since the beginning.

This source said "Dancing" competitor Susan Lucci is "fit to be tied. She is working so hard and is outraged that others have been eliminated who are far better than Cloris. It's all about her obnoxious schtick. ... There are deep concerns that people are going to tune out, thinking this has become a big joke and not the serious though entertaining dance competition it's supposed to be.

Well it looks like Susan and Tony are actually dancing the mambo. I don't know if I like this dance for Susan. Hopefully she nails it.

I just read that article too! Well, she's right. Cloris was amusing at first, but now it's getting old. I mean c'mon, the other night she was in the children's faces and it wasn't even funny.
She was amusing for two seconds. imo

She was so irritating with the kids on the Result show. Gosh, let them answer the question for crying out loud!

Well that article about the cast/staff being sick and tired of cloris is proving to be false. I had a feeling it was, especially when they named SL in the article, I've never known susan to diss anyone like that in an article, not even SMG. Now there may be some that are tired of her, but I don't get why the cast would, they see her maybe 2 days out of a week.

I thought the guy that is replacing len was good until he gave Brooke a 10 when she didn't deserve it. An did the sky fall in, because Carrie Ann defended susan against Bruno of all people.

I'm on the West Coast so I haven't seen it yet, but I'm following the message boards online. Looks like Susan was off timing wise but she let loose and wasn't so reserved.

I'm going to state my consipiracy theory: I think it was Carrie Anne that bitched to a reporter about CL, but for whatever reason susan's name got attached to the article. Because tonight Carrie Anne got on CL about losing Toni Braxton for CL's nuisance and she was surprisingly nice to susan tonight and defended her to bruno. It may not be true, but thats my theory.

SL's timing was off, but at least she let loose. I think SL is gone, because CL just got a looooong standing O from the audience. Her awful scores and dancing don't even matter, she has a fanbase that votes for her no matter what. I will be voting for Susan, because I do feel like she at least deserves to be here over cloris.

That hip hop dance pissed me off in regards to CL, why is it she basically stood on the sidelines while everyone else had to dance the whole dance through? Susan, bless her heart hip hop is just not for her and she really should never try again. Both her outfits were cute tonight though. I have to give credit to susan though she puts her self out there every night and does the best that she can do, so for that she is a winner in my eyes. I really think the hip hop dance might have did her in, and there is a strong possibility that she will be gone tomorrow.imo

Have you guys ever had a week when no one got voted of.

It happened with this week where in Australia.

They said that the voting (only 4 couples left) was that close it was hard. The votes form this week will be carried over to next week where one couple will have to go and they are going to take 3 couples into the final.

Yes, we've had those many times. Not because the voting was too close to call but because someone dropped out due to some unfortunate event in their life.

I don't want Susan to leave! Please vote! I'll admit, she's not the best dancer on the show but at least she's trying, unlike some....

It's definitely time for Cloris & Corky to go. Cloris has been entertaining but it is a dancing competition and I agree with Carrie Ann that they should've left the competition last week instead of Toni & Alec. Joining in the Bottom 2 should be Maurice & Cheryl.

Am I the only one unimpressed with this season? Ive been finding the choreography boring and Im really not attached to any of the couples. Im really watching for Susan Lucci but really she's not that good. I think this might be my least favorite season of the show

I think I might be one of the few that loved Cloris. Her dancing stunk but she more than made it for it in her interviews and talks with the judges. The woman was hilarious and by far the most entertaining star. I loved her sense of humor and that helped having her stay on each week bearable. We've and a few worst dancers each season stay on way past their time and that was a drag bc they had little personality and charisma but Cloris definetly didnt have that problem. I'll miss her. I hope she makes good on her promise and continues to show up each week still dressed to dance. LMAO

It's interesting that they did not reveal a bottom 2 tonight. Maybe Susan and Tony weren't in the B2? Regardless, I think they need to dance next week like it's their last because all the remaining stars are very talented.

I just read wikipedia, and if it's true, Susan and Tony will be dancing the Viennese Waltz and the Paso Doble. I think this is going to be great for the two of them!

I love Susan, I voted for her, but man she needs to just RELAX. Everyone seemed to think she did this weke but I didn't--sorry. Yeah she did a cat claw thing at the end of her dance but she was just as hesitant, to me, for the rest of it, and she WAS completely off time as Bruno said. The hip hop routine was beyond awful for nearly all the non dancers, but Susan just didn't hold her own at all. She still is way way way too controlled--it's frustrating to watch as I honestly think she has it in her but we won't see it.
