You're confusing process from outcome.

When it comes to outcome, you are right. SO FAR, we cannot see any clear changes at DOOL. But we knew that...even if the WGA investigates, this is all gonna take some time to shake out.

But look at what it did in terms of process. This community came together, in an unusally active way (most soap communities, actually), with higher than usual posts and a lot of COMMUNICATION. It was like all the fisher-wives decided to do their laundry at the stream bank on the same day.

This item brought us together, fueled a lot of fun and cameraderie.

How can you say this is nothing? Like the Seinfeld show, sometimes "nothing" is everything.
