The popular, multiple-award-winning daily soap "Les Feux de L'Amour" (aka "The Young and the Restless" in the U.S.) will be shooting in Paris for the program's first-ever on-location shoot in France. While the specific actors participating in the Parisian story line are yet to be confirmed, the week of filming is scheduled for October 2008. The on-location shoot precedes the series' upcoming 20th anniversary of airing in France.

I swear if this is Lily related, I'm going to puke. I'm sure it's Sabrina related though, and that will also make me puke.

But we haven't seen a real location shoot in some time on soaps, this should be good from that stand point.

I look forward to seeing Paris on a classy soap like Y&R, but the story better be insanely good. Could make for an interesting November sweeps. It sounds better than spending all that money on Out of the Asses. I just hope some interesting characters join dull Sicktor. I'm hoping for more of a mystery angle in Paris and less romantic bullshit.

Paris looks nice on a show like Sex and the City, but daytime dramas should avoid these things. Because more often than not, they look ridiculous.

Besides, I'd rather have a megastory then a cheap stunt like a location shoot in Paris.

Heh, we'll see what this will be all about, I won't try to think about it too much. Hopefully it will have something to do with either Sabrina or *crosses fingers* Dru.

For all my recent complaints, BRAD Bell knew how to do locations. His Italy remotes, in particular, gave both good story and wonderful eye candy.

Y&R has seldom done remotes, and almost never "grand" remotes (they usually just went to Pittsburgh to shoot some exteriors).

So, I look forward to this.

I do believe this won't be a stunt, but an important piece of story.

It suggests to me that Sabrina will be around AT LEAST through sweeps. Given other previews, I still think it will be "mystery" related.

I hope that it is also used as a platform for Lily to remember places she went with her mother...only to have her mother turn up at the end of the stunt.

That would be beyond amazing. If Y&R could pull that off...well, I'd be shocked.

I'm taking a wait and see approach. Given the pathetic state of Y&R, I am supporting anything that they try to stop the leaking ratings. The show has got to stop being so boring.

I'd tune back in for sure!!! I'll even tolerate FauxLily whiny, non-acting tail. All I'll see and hear is the DIVINE Ms. Rowell with her fine self!

If they get Paris wrong, Y&R should fire all of their crew people. Paris basically shoots itself.

Ugh, f**kin' Sabrina...

That would be the most interesting and amazing scene of the year.... oh how I miss Victoria Rowell... :(
