Oh Jackie Zeman...that contract that so many people said wouldn't matter DID matter after all. Props to Guza (who actually happens to like Jackie) for giving her at least an episode a month. And props to JFP for not having Bobbie killed off (yet...although since Jackie's not on contract she could just refuse to play it and JFP could have her killed offscreen...JFP don't get any ideas!!!)

I don't mind Maxie being at the top because I find her to be one of the very few interesting characters left on this show. I hadn't realized she was on everyday until the end of month. As long as someone remains interesting I don't mind them being on a lot.

The Z Family out acts her easily. Even if Storms acting skills were combined and magnified to the hundredth power, she still wouldn't hold a candle to Sarah Jo Brown.

I think the only reason that Jackie Zeman lasted on contract as long as she did, despite having no story since the early 2000s, was because of Geary's influence. I guess even Geary's iconic status could've stave off Zeman losing her contract as a result of budget cuts and probably to help pay Brown's salary. Charleson and Ingle, especially the latter, are probably the next to go, unless they have bare-bones, as-minimal-as-possible guarantees. I think Charleson is somewhat safe, as she can always have interaction with Burton, and there is unresolved conflict between their characters. Ingle's Edward, on the other hand, really serves no purpose and is a total afterthought on the writers' parts.
