I'm kind of excited that it seems they are not changing everything about it. I enjoyed Transformers, but I would have loved it if the robots resembled the ones from when I was a kid a little more closely.

OMG they are making a GI joe movie, I wanted a movie for years since the one we got back in the 80's was pure trash except the reveal of what cobra commander looked liked without his uniform on. I hope the actor that plays cobra commander is great, he was my favorite character on the show.

That was cool! And it's coming out next year in August? Sounds like it's going to be a Blockbuster hit!

great pic! snake eyes was one of the cooler characters. what do you guys think of channing tatum as duke? perfect casting or completely miscast? he looks too young for the part of the team leader. and sienna miller is playing baroness! i think she's more of a scarlet.

Famke Janssen should be the Baroness. She may be burnt out on fan boy franchises, though. Channing Tatum is indeed way too young for Duke. That's a Brad Pitt role. I appreciate that Snake Eyes kept the look of an 80's action figure.

i go up and down on this one. i really was mad at first that they didnt look like they did, but then after watching the dvd special's and the commentary i understood it and was okay with it.

yes famke jannsen would be purrfect! the square jaw and dark tresses would work. but they'd have to make her look a lot whiter. i think baroness should be almost pale white to match her icy demeanor. remember how she used to say "destro darling?".
