A rumor that Lauren Koslow (Kate) was axed from DAYS OF OUR LIVES spread like wildfire over the Internet last weekend — and flooded our inboxes — but as it turns out, the buzz is false. “The internet rumors regarding Lauren Koslow being let go are simply not true," says a DAYS spokesperson.

You're kidding right?! Six pages of angry comments over nothing... For the sake of her fans (and of course Lauren) let's hope it's true then.

According to Lauren's fan club president, she personally spoke to Lauren and this was all one big nasty rumor..Lauren is safe, there was no pay cut, and she potentially has a big story coming up...

I love Days, but I think Days fans are some of the biggest HYPOCRITES on earth. For years they have been wanting characters like Belle, Shawn, Kate etc. out of the picture, and now that they are, well we've got folks saying they can never watch Days again. These same people bitch about the show chaning a bedroom set or selling the penthouse. Idiots.

Koslow Not Out!

Lauren Koslow (Kate, DAYS) is speaking out about those rumors that she's been fired. "Not only am I staying, but I've heard a little bit about a story that's coming up," the popular actress tells Weekly in the next issue. Hear what else Koslow had to say about the malicious gossip and her fans when it goes on sale Feb. 12 (cover date Feb. 19).

Let me guess....a couple of months (or years) down the road, those birdies will claim, "SEE, WE TOLD YA SO!!"

Koslow is still in danger I believe, but I am just gonna give in and say that she's probably not fired.

Is CRASH hitting Days this month? What's happening for sweeps sounds so boring because I just know the writing will stink for this new storyline.
