All I gotta say is...GO ELISABETH!!!

Did anyone see what just happened on THE VIEW?! Rosie asked Elisabeth if she agreed with the what Conservative Pundits who say that she calls troops terrorists. Elisabeth evades the question and instead tells Rosie to explain to everyone what she means by what she says...

And Rosie and Elisabeth go back and forth, with headed words exchanged like Rosie calling Elisabeth a coward and Elisabeth saying to Rosie, "It's much easier to fight someone like Donald Trump." OUCH!

I don't even really like Elisabeth's politics, but she really came into her own today against the evil butch dragonlady herself. I say Elisabeth won this one.

I like how Sherri and Joy were trying so hard to go to commercial, but it seemed like Bill Geddie and the production staff were milking it for all it was worth. Hehehe.

Can anyone here YouTube this?

I did catch it and I loved every minute of it!

I am also on Elisabeth's side after watching today. It is not Elisabeth's place to defend what Rosie says on this show. She is a 40-something year old woman that has freedom of speech to say whatever she wants to. Why should Eliabeth, as a "friend," have to defend the absurd, at times, comments that come out of Rosie's mouth. Elisabeth told Rosie that she has the opportunity to defend, herself, on what she said about the troops. Rosie acted like Elisabeth was condemning her or something. She wasn't. Elisabeth was the adul in this conversation and Rosie was the child.

It's not Elisabeth's fault that Rosie comes off as a loud mouth bully. Elisabeth presents herself in a classy and mature fashion that she can get away with the stuff she says because she is not all in your face about what she believes in.

And did you see Alicia Silverstone totally pass Elisabeth when she came out? She walked out, Elisabeth went to give her a hug, and she walked right by her, and went over to hug Joy, Rosie and Sherri. First Genie Francis and now Silverston... Poor Elisabeth.

I didn't see that, but that was just rude. I've got THE VIEW on as backgroundd noise right now. With any luck(and controversy), We'll be finished with Rosie before those three weeks are up. And good riddance!

And your post COMPLETELY sums up why I've rooted for Elizabeth since the start of the new season, or even BEFORE the new season.

It's just not right for Rosie to try and cast blame on her token Republican "friend."

Rosie, because she comes off as a stereotypical bully, gets no sympathy from anyone except the handpicked liberals chosen to be in the audience.

And I don't necessarily disagree with Rosie most of the time...I just think she's a bully.

TEAM ELISABETH!

Now, The View is "good" daytime drama. LOL, I thought punches were going to be thrown eventually. Rosie's got to stop being such a b***h, there are more important things in life than being a b***h.

I also caught Alicia dodging Elisabeth, heh, I was thinking "is she going to ignore her the whole interview?"

Gotta have sponsors for that...hopefully if Rosie gets her own talker, she won't piss of churuch groups that will write into Proctor and Gamble, Kelloggs, Sears, etc. Even though POLITICALLY INCORRECT was one of the most watched late-night shows at the time of its cancellation, sponsors and affiliates becoming antsy about the show kept the show from going into another season.

That was the most heated argument to date. I felt bad for the two of them - bc usually they can get past their fights and still remain friends - but it got way too personal today, and I'm afraid their friendship will never be the same. Talk about fireworks!

I thought that was wrong for Alicia Silverstone to just dismiss and ignore Elisabeth. Elisabeth obviously looked a little hurt, but she didn't let it phase her, as she asked questions and conducted the interview like a professional. I really like Elisabeth for taking the high road.

I love Joy.

I stand by both of them. I love and hate them both equally.

This round went to Elisabeth, but I've never seen Elisabeth be so fierce. And I've never seen Rosie seem so hurt/sensitive. It was odd.

I know, tell me about it! Unlike every other time, they actually said stuff that cut to the core. I don't know if their "friendship" is gonna last this...

It's all good.

The one thing I couldn't STAND Rosie saying was how in the media it's Bully Rosie VS. Poor Elisabeth, when actually, if you look at it, everyone other than FOX NEWS lets Rosie come out smelling like a...rose(pun intended). It's that way with everyone she does battle with...

I may have to put THE VIEW back on my taping schedule.

    • Honestly, they should've ordered more of 2000 Malibu Road for the 1992-93 midseason and aired it when Knots went on a break. That was probably their best shot.    Then of course they fumbled Central Park West by airing it in the 9PM slot instead of a 10PM slot where it would've been away from the Fox dramas. CPW got its best rating by airing randomly on a Sunday and when it was taken off the air for a "re-tooling", Party of Five's ratings actually had a spike, so clearly they were feeding off each other. But being a smaller network focused on a certain demographic, Fox could afford to be patient Party of Five, CBS couldn't...
    • Agree on Bruce Gray as Owen; they needed to cast star power. He was too lightweight against Kim and he had no chemistry with Frances Fischer except more gay buddy or daddy figure.  I loved Nola and Eliot together though. Lee Godart should have been longer term.
    • Andre has the worst fashion of the males which is off putting for someone as fine as he is. His jackets and sweaters look dated and no vintage does not work for him
    • I don’t recall MSW having a toy line in the late 80’s or early 90’s like all those Saturday morning cartoons did LOL but thought this was cute when I saw it in a vintage toy store yesterday:

    • Copying and pasting pasting this here as to not to derail the KL thread lol Wow I forgot CBS actually did try multiple attempts to come up with a soapy replacement for Knots on Thursday nights in the 10/9 slots for the 93-94 season.   Angel Falls had promise but CBS didn’t give it a fair chance. Latham’s Second Chances got even worse ratings than Angel Falls and wasn’t given a second chance when the Northridge quake destroyed the show’s sets. One West Waikiki looked gorgeous but was a blink you missed it affair. Finally we got Hotel Malibu, a quasi follow-up to Second Chances that stayed as the summer replacement series it was. CBS switched gears and had Chicago Hope air in the slot…against ER. It made the Top 30 but obviously underperformed below expectations. CBS gave up, and gave us 48 Hours for years there. It wasn’t until the 2002-03 season when CBS finally produced a Top 20 show for that spot with Without A Trace against an aging ER.
    • Of course I join in on wishing that Peacock & Corday & Sony would all together come to the conclusion that NOW would be a fine time to put some of these gems in the archive on full display!!! But, at the same time I'd like to give kudos to the fact that behind the scenes they've been doing the great work of preservation by taking tapes, etc. & converting them to modern digital formats. Besides the important fact of preserving them it means they are ready to go!

    • Bill and Hayley’s living room set should be redressed as their bedroom. We’ve not seen their gorgeous circular entry way set since the first week? Why not utilise that more and build them a living room off those double doors? The hotel room also doesn’t have a bed? Does only Dani have a bedroom?
