Corday said they rested the character so my thinking is he and RJ came to an understanding where a paycut would be involved but that the character would be rested and off the show. I don't think they had a timetable in mind at the time but he told her to remain open. He did mention 6-8 months come to think of it. RJ said in her interview she would return and wouldn't want to work anywhere else but Days. She even said her only plans were to promote the skin scream she endorses so she left herself wide open.

I think the intention to bring her back was there because her firing was so random and I think RJ and him had an agreement in private. RJ did seem upset about the firing but she probably didn't see it coming and it's still hard being out of work for even this long. That is probably why she and her castmates were upset.

Whatever the case, I totally buy her comeback and I just can't wait for the mags tomarrow. I am hoping for Days casting news and some May sweeps previews hopefully.

Mrs. M? PMs aside, from this thread, I have no reason to believe you are being attacked. Whenever spoilers are posted, a link and/or source is almost always requested by members (no matter which show it is) and is otherwise considered a rumor. Now, fans do tend to run with rumors they like. That's fine. But when it's posted as a spoiler, without further proof beyond the word of any member (no matter WHO it is), people are going to question it. It's that simple.

I just want to say that it was two weeks ago today I posted this. I am so tired of people downing me about my spoilers and saying I am always posting incorrect stuff and to take things with a grain of salt. As you can see from the post, most everything has come to be. I also want to point out that I put Renee Jones was returning in the message line and it was edited to say actress returning because it was spoilerish. Well, I see almost the exact same title with no editing. So when people say I am held to the same standard as others, I don't think so. I would like to end with this... I could be providing you guys with great scoops, but you know what they say about biting the hand that feeds you. I don't know what it takes to be "credible" with people here, but I think with the revalations I gave out here last summer about Patrick, Frankie, Austin, Carrie, etc being let go in that whole EricaKane4Life crap, I think I have proven myself here. I'm not the one who put out the ice storm spoiler, or the one who put out about Sami having twins, one being EJ and one being Lucas or some of the other junk out there. So I'll post some more spoilers in the future if you want, but please have a little more faith in me. I think I've earned it and have been getting a bum rap for some time now.

Okay. I am actually taking up for you. But at the same time, enough is enough.

It has been pointed out to you numerous times. Not everyone doubted you. In all fairness, most believed you. Only one or two raised suspicions and said they would wait and see for themselves.

So when you speak of this thread and all of its participants, could you please be a little more accurate? Not everyone here had doubts about your spoilers. Just because one did doesn't mean you have to go on some maniacal tirade against all of SON and put them ALL on a guilt trip for "not believing you".

And you say you try to post this stuff here all the time, but I surely never see you...?!...... And it can't be because "you're tired of people not believing you". I think we just cleared up that little inadequate presumption. :)

Well, since the DiMera are invading Salem this summer, and her exit was left open ended, her return makes sense, IMO. And while Lexie did not dominate screentime with her own storylines, she was an important and consistent supporting character.

And here Aremid, "Search for her parents" storyline didnet invovle hoochieness, nor did the baby switch storyline.

    • But that is pretty much situation normal for all soaps. They do not tend to continue to show things like surgical scars. They also play fast & loose with hospital procedures.
    • Trump and Netanyahu are giving "Let them eat cake".  And it's horrific. In 2013, Pope Francis removed a bishop from running the Limburg Germany diocese because he was constructing an opulent 31-million-euro building. Pope Francis stood up for the poor, the unhoused, the migrants of all faiths.  He lived simply and ordered that when he died, that he wished to be interred in a simple wooden coffin. I sincerely hope that the new pope Leo will follow Francis' example.
    • Co Sign!!!!   I have been watching the show regularly over the last few weeks and am pleasantly surprised by how much easier it is to watch each day. This definitely is confirmation for me that Paula and Jeanne wrote the stroke episodes, cause I felt the same way watching those. Could be more exciting for sure, but interactions now make more sense and everything seems to be a bit more character driven which is great. I will add though, there are still about 10 or so characters i'd love to see gone, and hope a few will exit in the future! Otherwise, happy with the changes so far.
    • Sean Freeman looks good in anything. Would not change one thing. Arielle Prepetit looking cute.

    • There is suffering everywhere you look, says mother of emaciated baby girl trapped in Gaza https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/czrv5rl73zdo Quoting excerpts from BBC article: The baby's mother Najwa, 23, is changing Siwar's nappy. She weighs just over 2kg (4lb 6oz). A baby girl of five months should be around or over 6kg. "There was no food when I gave birth to her," says Najwa. "If I wanted to feed myself so I could breastfeed her, I had no nutrients to make my health better... She now only drinks formula milk, and we don't know how we'll be able to provide it for her." Israel has banned international journalists from entering Gaza to report independently. According to Siwar's doctor, Ziad al-Majaida, "Nothing enters through the borders, no milk, food or anything. This leads to big problems here for the kids. This baby needs a specific type of milk. It was available before, but because of the border closure, the stocks have run out for a while now." Since the beginning of the year, according to the UN, about 10,000 cases of acute malnutrition among children have been identified. Food prices have rocketed by as much as 1,400%. Charity kitchens, which have helped hundreds of thousands of Gazans, are shutting as food supplies run out. Twenty-five bakeries supported by the World Food Programme have been forced to close. Israel cut off all humanitarian aid and other supplies from entering Gaza on 2 March, and resumed its military offensive two weeks later The United Nations has said the Israeli blockade constitutes "a cruel collective punishment" on civilians. The UN's humanitarian director, former British diplomat Tom Fletcher, said that international law was unequivocal. "As the occupying power, Israel must allow humanitarian support in... Aid, and the civilian lives it saves, should never be a bargaining chip," he warned. From the BBC reporter: I put this point to Boaz Bismuth, a leading member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party. He (Bismuth) denies there is an aid crisis caused by the blockade. "There is food in Gaza... Israel wouldn't do such a restriction if the population didn't have food. I mean, I know my country perfectly well," he (Bismuth) said. BBC reporter: I put it to Bismuth that he was denying the evidence of people's eyes, that children were starving. "There are not starving children. I repeat again." He (Bismuth) said that there had been allegations months ago of famine, ethnic cleansing and genocide in Gaza "which was crap". ----  ----  ---- A UK-based advocacy group for Israel has the nerve to claim war may reduce obesity in Gaza https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/may/10/uk-lawyers-for-israel-condemned-over-claim-war-may-reduce-obesity-in-gaza
    • Joel Crothers would have been perfect as Owen (maybe because Margo wasn't too far off Denise). A shame he couldn't have played a dual role. Eliot did have more room to grow. I wonder if whatever allegedly happened with Denny Albee played a part in both their exits.
    • Andre is the standout in the cast among the males when it comes to fashion.

    • I remember Evie's last scene and it was in Justin Marler's house and she is telling them that Ben is asking for a reconciliation and she is going to join him. I always have wondered what Janet Grey did after leaving Guiding Light (I know from the interview with Kathleen Cullen that she did have a baby and they stayed in touch for awhile).
