October 26, 200718 yr Member I think this show is doing really well with mixing the over the top funny stuff with sincere emotions. Brian and BJ were so cute last night. I like his wife now, I think she really loves him. I felt really bad for Jeremy too. Last night it sounded like the twins might be Dutch's. I'm hoping Trip's comments were just to lead us off the trail. This is definitely my favorite new show of the season.
November 15, 200718 yr Member I am just a tad annoyed with last night's show. I could do with less Karen and Patrick drama and have more Bryan and the twins. They are so much more interesting IMO. Simon Elder is totally hot though.

I really hope Trip turns out to be a really bad guy, because he's becoming a cartoon, we need a jr ewing or something. I know simon might be the bad guy, but I would rather it be someone within the Darling family. Edited November 15, 200718 yr by EricaKane70
November 18, 200718 yr Member I love Karen and Brian. Tripp is great too. I hope that Karen does land Nick, but not any time soon. I guess we are supposed to be rooting for Lisa, but I'm just not. This show got a full season pick up, so I'm really excited, if only the strike would end.
November 21, 200718 yr Administrator I like Karen as the slut, but I don't want a Karen/Nick pairing because Karen has no redeeming qualities. I love Brian and Brian Jr's relationship. BJr's a cute kid. I hope we get to see more of him. Damn his mother for taking him away. Glad the show was picked up.
November 26, 200718 yr Member Thought last week's show was the best episode yet. The Simon Elder-reveal was awesome and added a new mysterious twist to the whole show, Patrick's dilemma was highly entertaining and it was a treat NOT to see Juliet because Jeremy has a little more depth than her and I like his new romance. Funniest line went to Karen: "Want some Scotch? [realizes bottle is empty] Oh, sorry." LOL!
November 26, 200718 yr Member I think Jeremy's new girl already knows he's a Darling. I bet she found out in between turning him down and saying yes.
December 5, 200718 yr Member This is one of the best shows no one is watching. I loved the reveal that Brian was Dutch's. I hope Brian and Nick don't become bff's any time soon. Can't wait to see what happens between Jeremy and Lisa tonight.
December 11, 200718 yr Member So aren't there two more eps in the can ?? Why are the next two eps reruns
December 14, 200718 yr Member ^^ I think because people watch less TV during the holidays? Just a guess. This show seems to be slipping in the ratings, but maybe we'll be lucky enough to get another season because of the lack of pilots. It's such a good show, I don't know why more people aren't watching.
January 8, 200818 yr Member But we still have those two eps (wikipedia says three) and they decide to pre empt it with Cashmere Mafia now? couldn't they have waited 2 weeks?
February 12, 200817 yr Member Looks like we are getting a second season!! The bad news is that we won't be getting those three new episodes until fall.
February 20, 200817 yr Member Yeah frnakly I think that's a foolish idea... The show migth lose too much momentum--I think it still had some if they had aired those eps this season (it did make a number of major tv top ten lists, like Ent Weekly). And I read it did better than Cashmere is in its slot... But... I'm glad it'll be back I hope it finds a bit more of an audience--I knwo it didn't do badly but it also didn't do as well as it deserved I think--even Gossip Girl, which i find far inferior, somehow picked up all the "guilty pleasure' cult show chique that DSM deserved more
March 2, 200817 yr Member I'm really glad that DSM will be back in fall. I liked the series very much, and it's in my top 5 favorite new series this season.
August 26, 200817 yr Member So... I haven't been following the behind-the-scenes changes on this show, but it seems it changed several showrunners in one season: Berlanti, Reims, Cerone? Now Feldman? What was that?
