I'd rather have Stephanie on the show than Willow or Gabby..but she still can't hook up with Max...and its another new face for viewers to have to accept..Maybe they could do Stephanie and Phillip????????

and i couldn't stand shayna rose, i was happy she was let go..She just didn't fit with the show..

That's because of the way they were writing her. No one wanted to see ANOTHER supercouple child obsessing over how their parents belong together. Once the writers got Stephanie away from Kayla and Steve 24/7, she was awesome. It just sucked it was after the news already leaked out that she was leaving.

I'm upset by this news, but I'm going to give Henning a chance. With Abby possibly leaving town, I hope Hogan stays true to his word and doesn't pair her with Max again. I'd rather see Stephanie thrown in Chelsea/Nick.

Your right Drew that it was mostly how they wrote her but she wasn't written like that to start and a good deal of people didn't like her from the start. Some warmed up to her before the end of her run but not alot. I know many on here grew to like her and felt the writing for her was poor and I agree with that. I just don't think many people are broken-hearted over this recast though.

I wish Shayna the best but it was clear that they were not only resting Stephanie as a character but were going to bring her back with a recast. I think Days knew she didn't fit for some reason.

Hopefully, this girl fits. She is nice to look at but the key is her acting. Hopefully, she will be good and I do think she is bring thrown in with Nick and Chelsea. That is good for me because I liked Stephanie and Chelsea going at it before but who knows how it will be with this girl in the role. With Shayna, Stephanie had some spunk and spark to her. She had that inner fire but we'll see what this girl has got.

I really enjoyed Shayna Rose as Stephanie and hate that she isn't the one they are bringing back. All I can say is that this girl better be good or she will be plastered, too. Not a lot of folks are happy by both and/or either that she is not Shayna Rose and that she is another Johnson.

At least she isn't an Abby recast.

Oh God! Another new face that will be hogging up ALL the airtime. This show has clearly not gotten its priorities straight. NuDAYS really sucks and all the news coming out about it continues to do the same.

I don't see the point, really. What the heck is she going to do? They won't have a young female without a romantic partner, and they already said Stephanie/Max is out. They could throw her in with Nick/Chelsea, but they've pimped those two pretty hard as the trueloveforever couple and I don't know if fans would accept Stephanie as the third wheel. I also don't know if they'd accept a new younger male character to hook her up with.

I agree with what you said. I liked Shayna unlike many others, but I will give this one a fare chance. There's no reason not to. Besides we all knew Stephanie was coming back. She's a pretty face, hope she can act a little too.

As for why they're bringing her back now? Uhm, for Steve of course. I never liked the way she left anyway. She just found her dad that she never met, and she takes of. No way.

      I don't expect Lois to be the same person she was 25 years ago, but she's definitely lost a lot of what made Lois unique.  It's clear the show doesn't know how to write for her, and the sole purpose of Lois is to hide this Gio secret.  It's a shame she doesn't interact with more of the canvas.  It's a waste of Rena's talents. I like Brook Kerr most of the time.  She can be hit or miss.  I totally get what you are saying about her line readings too.  I honestly think the character really suffers being stuck in the Curtis pairing.  She's much better than Tanisha Harper's Jordan lol.

      Friday and yesterday's episode is what daytime television should be. The other shows airing could take a page from yesterday's show.  I loved the rage, hurt and anger Nicole unleashed on Ted.  Daphnee should be up for an Emmy nom for these scenes.  It broke my heart to see how Dana had locked Eva out.  I do feel sorry for Eva.    I am still bumfuzzled as to why Leslie/Dana went to the DuPree's and asked them to accept Kat UNLESS Eva is really Kat's twin (and really Nicole and Ted's daughter that maybe they though they lost or an embryo Dana/Leslie stole??) I loved how Anita and Vernon both shot her down.    Ohhh and let me just say Friday and yesterday was the MOST fire I have seen Martin have since the show started.  Maybe Brandon Clayborn is coming into his own with the role finally.

      Where to for Dana? She's pissed off the Duprees (most of the cast), alienated her daughter and will she be welcomed by the Have Nots at the diner? Maybe she can befriend Ashley and Derek and liven up their story.

      So far the only interest I've seen from Evan to Amanda has been listening to Iris's orders to go and seduce her.  So far he hasn't been successful... but who knows. Amanda is unbearable at times. Entitled, spoiled... idiotic. Iris... so blatantly manipulating her and Amanda takes the bait. But I guess... when she gets in trouble... she'll have a chance to learn. That's what makes these shows so interesting.    Oh, no, don't worry. You haven't ruined a thing. Evan has not been on my radar that much... he was not one of the characters I was caring particularly... so nothing much has been changed for me. I don't think he has the stuff to ruin Rachel's life. He's just a pretty guy that can follow orders. Iris on the other hand... is dangerous.

      The show has gone back to 10/10 entertainment! I'm glad that I was right in feeling that what were experiencing were growing pains. I'm sure they are not over yet, but I'll know that we always comeback to quality drama. I think it's going to be a hell of ride (in a good way) from this moment on. BTG has that magic that not a lot of shows have. I'll update more... when I'm done catching up.

      So very glad to hear this. Yesterday I suddenly thought; OMG, what about spoilers, have I just  ruined things for Maxim in getting carried away with interest in Evan, who was so well-written & well-acted. BTW, your fan review of this episode was a sight for eyes that had not seen one of these for a little bit too long, LOL!!!  Mitch is also fascinating to me but in his case it's because he was all in with Janice & her nefarious plan & then he did this turnabout we've mentioned & he basically got off scot-free.
