Franc Ross (Duck) is not on contract with "Days of Our Lives." Due to an error by NBC's crediting the first week he was on, he was erroneously listed in the contract cast section. He is on recurring status with the show. Here is a list of the current 28 contract castmembers.

I knew it. I told everyone two weeks ago that Duck would not last.

Gabby seems to be more long-term but Duck never seemed like anything more then someone coming in for one purpose and then taking off.

You be happy enough for both of us. The contract problem never mattered much to me at all. OLTL is putting all these newbies on recurring and I still have a problem with them and stated as such about Randolph Mantooth.

I am still disgusted. As someone else said look at the bulk of the air time - it goes to the bottom half of the contract list plus the recurring characters.

Someone coined the phrase nuDays and that is what it is. It is not the Days I know and love anymore - so just hearing that one newbie/new face is recurring is not enough for me to get happy.
