Matt Ashford is already taping scenes so Jack will be on air by mid-April at the latest.

Also, it appears Matt has been placed on recurring status.

Sweet...........April 2nd isn't that far away at all...and a day before my bday...but seriously, Jack can't get on my screen soon enough..It will be so comforting seeing a familiar face..and i'm glad he'll be on recurring..thats a good sign...

There, I've said it. Jack and Adrienne are NEEDED for Steve's story and should be on 10x more than any other character we are seeing now, they would add familiarity, historical reference and best of all GREAT ACTING to these stories, so why are they, well for all we know, Jack, not on contract? And please... no budget talks...

I love Jack (MA) solo and as long as that is how he stays, I'll be very happy to have him around. Jen ruins him or he ruins her, I'm not sure which, but I cannot stand Jack with Jen.

Because Jack doesn't figure into Steve's story the same way Gabby and Duck figure into SHELLE's. That's why.

You say you don't want budget talk, but that's the reason. There's no other reasons.

The Jennifer thing has to be the stumbling block: if MA was to go back on contract, they'd either have to kill off Jennifer or recast her.
