Someone over on SOC posted and said they were Jeffrey Meek's friend and that the news is infact true. Here is what they said:

I thought someone should come in here who actually knows Jeff Meek. He has been a dear friend of mine for many years and is THE KINDEST, MOST ETHICAL HUMAN BEING I know

He is the last person in the world who deserved to be treated in this manner. The higher ups have made a huge mistake. His acting experiences far out weigh most people in day time. He took bad writing and made the best of IMHO.

In regards to his dismissal, if they were planning on letting him go, how about treating a person with some respect and give them a heads up. He worked hard and diligently for them for the last 6 months and deserved better than he got.

Yes, unfortunately,my buddy, JM is off the show. And in regard to his replacement, it is not my place to make that announcement. I leave that to the "powers that be".

I saw that and not to be untrusting and cynical, but I'm not going to just blindly swallow it either. Anyone can register and say they are a friend of someone or know someone or are someone or aren't someone. Just look at some of the shananigan's that have gone on here in the last couple of months.

I find it odd that the person who originally posted the news said it would probably be confirmed on Monday and here it is Friday and we really don't know any more than we ever did.

I soo want it to be true, but I'm kind of starting to doubt it, since we have yet to get any official word on it.

So no confirmation yet? I wish there would be confirmation one way or another.

Apperently the reason there has been no confirmation is becuase Jeff Meek has done an interview with SOD thats gonna be coming out. The info was leaked before SOD put out that interview.

Uh, didn't the interview already appear in last week's issue. I could have sworn that I saw one.

The issue was already being printed when this story leaked out.

"Kind and Ethical" means crap in daytime today. He has no chemistry with any of the leading ladies. His portrayal of Craig, overall, has been a bust with viewers. Why should they keep him?

The higher ups have made a huge mistake.

For once, The higher ups have done RIGHT by the viewers and the fans...that's if this rumor is right.

He's not THAT talented, but I will say this: right actor, wrong role. Meek would have been great on ATWT or any other soap as a different character. I just don't buy him as a lead male villian and never have.

Nothing has been confirmed yet. A lot of people I have talked to say it is true. But I dont know. We will just have to wait and find out. If we dont hear anything soon I guess it is not true.

Austin Peck is just the wrong age for this part...couple that with his lack of talent and then there's disaster.

It's a shame when talent like Roger Howarth is being wasted on psychic visions. I bet he wishes he never left ONE LIFE TO LIVE.
