I like Colleen, however, so sick of Adrian "Kornball" Korbell...It would have been interesting if he was just the hot professor that had the hots for Colleen, rather than having him all up in the reliquary nonsense....He got on my nerves with the constant "I'm sooo sorry I came between you and your family...maybe if it wasn't for me.." If he wants her so bad, be happy and don't worry about Papa Brad thinks.

I will say this about Jana...that girl has been knowing about some of the folks at Genoa City for some time now.

A part of me wonders if she knew about Kevin's past with Colleen for some time...I know he told her briefly that he tried to kill Colleen, however, he never mentioned what he exactly did. I find it ironic that Colleen is once again in some type of refrigerator

WTF Jill?! You can't wait to find your son? And you say it with such joy. Um, hello! Are you forgetting that your son is buried in the cemetery. God, I hate this storyline! Lets just forget about the Phillip that you raised. Lets just throw all ourselves into finding a total stranger. Great job, Hack!

I'm catching...

Tuesday:

Nick&Phyllis are SO boring it’s really narcotic. And why is Phyllis already working? If I were in her shoes I’d stay close to my daughter - WHO WAS KIDNAPPED by myself ahem myself’s crazy alternate personality ahem a loony ahem whatever ...

I really hate David or moreso his portrayer. Can’t stand him.

How stupid is Jack BTW!? Eric Braeden is so overacting this vendetta story that’s it’s hard to believe Jack is eating up on Victor...

And wasn’t it fabulous that in the midst of all the sh*tty tales Y&R is telling these days they find the audacity to incorporate serious world history moments like Auschwitz into their mess? I for one found it EXTREMELY distasteful.

Wednesday:

Judging Victoria Rowell’s dress this was the day Y&R throw it’s 18 years on top-party... Too bad the show had little party flair and was BH90210 twens-dull.

Still liking the Jana mystery but again the pacing is very much off.

Why is Jana's face so orange and shiny? And the red extensions are driving me insane.

(watching on SoapNet right now)

Adrianne Leon is so much prettier on Y&R than she was on GH.

Katherine and Jill are getting on my nerves, bigtime. I'm 'over' this story.

    • Roger's return storyline may have been silly but Roger's return was what lead to GL's last golden era.  It was the combination of Roger's return and Robert Calhoun becoming EP that got GL to finally hit it's stride after some really bad years. It will always disappoint me that the ratings during Robert Calhoun's run didn't reflect the quality of the show.
    • He also gave some of the best episodes, like the episodes surrounding Doug's death. The problem with Days was that Ron had a horrible vision from he top. I don't feel the same for MVJ and nothing that has happened in all these months suggests she doesn't have a handle on the show. Now if it becomes an issue I'll acknowledge it, but I'm not seeing it so far.
    • Jean Hackney was awful and that lead to Ben's exit story which sucked. I liked Ben/Val together. Val's love for Ben was that of a grown woman moving on with her life and Ben's love for Val made him willingly decide to raise another man's children as his own.
    • It wasn't just a GL thing, it was an 80s thing. Opulent party scenes on soaps were very big back then. Even in regular episodes where people are just going to dinner they're dressed up like they're going to see royalty.
    • Just started the May 27 episode and first thing I see is that Willow got an ugly haircut since hte last time i watched   I dont have the context for how everthing went down but I know its all Lulu's fault which make her a bish for what she did to Gio
    • I'm pretty sure he was. But point taken. GL really had a thing for masked and costumed balls/parties in the '80's. Everyone looks fabulous, but those poor costume designers.
    • Still here ^^ Come on Prime Video, it's due to bring it back!
    • Got through the eighth season, and it was... painful.

    • I agree 100% with both you and Mitch64.  Soaps have been going further and further off-course since 1981. TPTB just don't have a fundamental understanding of what makes soap fans so loyal. I'd love to be on a writing team with both of you.  Maybe we could put together a real soap opera, and show people what its all about...
    • They weren't in town, but Fletcher worked at the paper (and we saw anniversary Journal headlines for the 50th, although I don't remember if Roger was one of them), and I'd think Alex would have at least heard of him due to the damage he did to Spaulding only a few years before her return to the fold. I know I have to remember it's not real life, of course.
