Hope everyone had a wonderful week-end....This week on Y&R:

The search for Phyllis and the babies is on.....who will find her, and put a stop to that CRAZED Pheila?

Victor and Nikki continue their little scheme to put a hurting on Jack (to be honest, this is going to end the same way it always does:

Victor winning, Jack wiping egg off his face).

Sharon surprisingly comes to Nick's side as fear sets in for him about his wife and child....

Dru's push over the edge regarding Carmen has her believing that the woman could be alive and kickin....Jack has a heart-to-heart with Dru.

More stuff on Kevin's search for Jana.....More SNOOZEFEST/FF moments regarding the whole Brad and the Reliquary...

You all know the drill:

Let's talk about the Good, the Bad, and the most definite Ugly of this week's Y&R ;)

 Yes, it happens quite often. I think people look too much into the scenes. The Hack has pretty much pushed Lily out of the Winters family. Now that Dru and Neil adopted Devon, they often forget they have a daughter, a real daughter, not via adoption.

I know that I am getting sick of these scenes when everywhere Dru is, David Chow seems to be. It's getting repetitive and old.

Well I enjoyed today show. From the beginning to end. Here is a plus no Colleen, Brad storyline. I was happy.

The speical effects at the end were great. I really didnt think they were going to do that but it was good and not cheesey.

The acting supard today and majority of the cast I care about. I thought everyone stepped up their game.

I dont know I guess I am in the few cause LML is better to me than Guza who I cant stand. I think LML does think of the audience versus Guza does not. I dont see her going anywhere cause the numbers are good and we have to think the Bell's have the final say of what is goin on with their show so they are not to blind to see the changes and must agree with them to a point.

What I see is this after watching the show:

Jack's concern for what's going on, especially when he learned that Phyllis was the one in danger (shows that his love will NEVER stop for her).

Sharon, who mentioned how she knows that Nick must be really having a hard time with all of what's going on (shows that her love will NEVER stop for him).

I was kind of glad to see how the news made a dent with both of them.

Also saw how Dru was 'offended' that Daniel opted her NOT to lend support because of her grand dislike for Phyllis...Could you just see it? Dru, offering up her support/condolences to Daniel about his mother; then a week later, saying to Sharon, "You know, that Phyllis Newman cooks my last grit."

This was a prime example of the epitome of what’s wrong with Y&R.

On Friday so much happened and it was rushed completely. Today not much happened although there is supposedly tense atmosphere. Whatever. LOL about “Amber Alert” - for some strange reason I was frightened to death every time these words were spoken because I expected Miss Moore to show up in her most flashy presence.

Victoria Rowell rocked her scenes BTW. The rest was blah! Only interested in Jack’s secret motive - if there is one? - concerning Victor and his likely bribery record with Senator Body.

Shocked that they actually came up with a decent cliffhanger moment for a change. Too bad this was about the only surprise twist today on Y&R.

Dru, the feather, in the hat. Love you. But, next time you see that pointless character, tackle her ass down, and don't let her go until everybody sees her alive.

Vincent Irizzary run back to GL. LML is just going to have you playing around in circles.

Tracey & Christian, I feel you  One day Tracey, I hope you could have some fun again in the role of Lauren, instead of being so frantic. She's such a good actress, and I feel sorry that she's been playing the same material for years now. :(

ETA: These days I'm only watching for the actors (you know Victoria, Christian, Doug, Jess...)

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
    • Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol  Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well.
    • It’s not about a lack of faith and trust in MVJ, it’s about a a lack of faith and trust in Ron Carlivati, who I think can be very sneaky and manipulative when he wants to be.  And, all that “He’s just a breakdown writer” talk never changed my mind about anything, because at Days, it was “just a breakdown writer” that gave us some of the worst episodes I’ve ever seen.
