Members Juliajms
Interesting is not the word, I'd use. LOL! More like scary as hell. I think they'll get a bump during the weeks of Jammy's exit, but once they are gone...I'm trying to be optimistic here, but it's hard.
Members Q Steph
The church scenes were damn good. Tom Pelphrey just stirs something inside of me. He has the kind of rage that I struggle with, but try to temper with political correctness. However, I haven't been brought to tears. I thought I wold at least cry a little bit but this wave of annoyance is just coming over me. Tom and Stephanie deserve Emmy nominations. While I didn't cry, they broke my heart. It was so Jonathan to just grab her.
Members DruRocks
Out of curiosity are Tom and Stephanie eligible for an emmy nom? I thought you had to be in "set" number of episodes. Does anyone know what that number is?
Members Josh
Dru...that's a good point one that I have not thought about! I don't think they would qualify for an Emmy nom in 2007. I remember that they had to bring Camryn Grimes back to cover her episodes so she could be nominated on Y&R in 2005 when she died. And that was well into June/July so I don't think they would have enough episodes, considering that this is day 18 give or take! The church scenes to me were old Jonathan, which was interesting...I still love Marcy Rylan...but for the life of me...I don't know why Alan would turn his back on Lizzie...this is Alan Spaulding, he would give Sarah back but find a way to keep both Lizzie and the baby! His scenes with Reva were awesome!!! Like I said earlier, NF stepped it up! Jonathan climbing on the bed was a little to much for me though...sorry! And Beth, gosh darn I forget how much I  her and Beth Chamberlain!!! She popped Lizzie a good one...this needs to be the end of Alan and Beth as a couple, Beth needs to yank Lizzie away from the mansion and take up with Frank!! LOL!!! Also did anyone find it curious to hear Beth say regarding Tammy's dying wish, "What we have done."
Members Josh
Okay I retract my first paragraph above. I was informed it was 10.
Members Juliajms
I think Beth said "what we have done" because she enabled Alan to some degree. I think when someone dies the way Tammy has and you have even the smallest part in the circumstances that led up to it, feeling guilty is the sane response. She probably feels bad for not trying to bring Lizzie to her senses sooner too. When she was screaming at Lizzie for going to Alan when she knew he was capable of anything, I was really feeling Beth. I remember that scene months ago when Tammy went to Beth for help with Alan and Beth turned her down flat. That was such a sad scene to me as a Beth fan because Tammy and Beth used to be similar characters. ICAM about Beth needing to get away from Alan now. Right now. I'd love to see her with Frank. Members SpiritualJunkie
As over-the-top as the church scenes were, it was soo nice to see old Jonathan (or should I say JB?) back. Too bad he didn't finish the job on Lizzie. It's really unfortunate that Tom & Steph won't be able to get an Emmy nom for this show. I'm hoping Nicole will, though...I'm sure she'll have tons of material later that will get her some recognition. Here here to seeing Beth get away from Alan. Beth Chamberlin is such an underrated actress. Alan shot his own son and later married said son's "widow". Is it really that shocking that he'd leave his own granddaughter (who BTW, tried to kill him) to fry just so that he can continue with his second chance (Sarah)? Members jfung79
I loved today's episode and was definitely moved by it, but I am shocked that no one is upset that Jonathan tried to choke Lizzie to death. I don't see how that makes one happy to see "old Jonathan". Was that what was appealing about him? There's nothing appealing to me about an extreme, violent, sick person. About the show setting up new young people, I think they will probably go for a Lizzie/Coop reunion. Remy also seems to be getting a push, and he will probably end up with Marina. Then there is Daisy too.
Members crc
O.T.: I guess that explains why one of the mags suggested that Betty White should get an Emmy nom, especially given she was in just exactly ten episodes on B&B.

Members Josh
Amen Hogan!!! He was okay for a few days there, but the last two days he was awful...and brought this story down I feel like!!
Members Juliajms
The thought of Remy getting a bigger part of this show makes me cringe. Please, no. I never really though Jon would kill Lizzie, so it didn't bother me that he tried to shake her up. I love Lizzie more than I've ever liked Tammy, but she has gone completely off the charts with her selfishness. When your own mother slaps you, tells you you don't love your daughter and aren't worthy to raise her, it's time to face the fact that you are screwed up. I don't think Lizzie is directly responsible for Tammy and I don't think she deserves the same payback Alan does, but she needs to own up to her part in this. Members SteveFrame
Jonathan getting up on the bed was a little much in some ways, but as many said he is Reva's son so it made sense in that. And 41 and having witnessed the deaths of both my grandmothers, my dad, and my mom - let me tell you everyone deals with it in a different way. I saw my nephew do the same thing the night my Mom died. He got on top of her and was not going to let the funeral home take her. So for me even though it might be over the top, it is not irrational to think someone would do it.
Members soapfan4life
All I can say where is the top ten poll we used to do when you need it Guiding Light would have been all over it for the past 2 weeks. My only problem would be which actor/actress to choose from this week. I really don't think Remy is that bad, yea he needs a little work but he's tolerable. They really will need to add younger characters because right now most of them are related-Coop, Marina, Daisy.
Members SpiritualJunkie
Jonathan's actions and rage weren't appealing "appealing" but they were appealing in a way that they were true to the person he was when he first came into town. Tammy changed him but that violent, angry person has never completely disappeared and so it makes complete sense why the fear and later on the reality, of losing the one person he felt gave him a chance without having to and loved him for who he was would make him revert to that monster he used to be. Still, I'm not afraid to admit that after what Lizzie said to Jonathan about hoping that he never gets his perfect family and throwing all those bogus fake promises he made to her about their fake marriage in his face while Tammy was dying on a hospital bed, she deserved the kind of pain that Tammy herself, experienced. Steve, that sounds awful. I admit I was extremely uncomfortable with the scenes following Tammy flatlining because it really did look and sound like raw, gutteral pain. I've heard people wail like Jonathan did today and the discomfort I felt hearing that wailing for real didn't make it any easier to listen to today. Yeah, it's really too bad we don't have the SON Top 10 anymore. Best actor would definitely go to Tom but best actress would be a toughie...Stephanie, Nicole, and Beth have all been really good.
