Im starting to get over Melinda. I think she is one that peaked to early. Ive begun to notice that she really doesnt have much range adn each week seems to sound the same. IA with Simon and that she appeared much older than she is.

Cant argue there. I hope Chris, Jordin and Blake are safe. Sanjaya will be and for once he deserves it. I think Haley is a goner. I like her and she's cute and fun but she isnt that great vocally. I think Phil and Lakisha will join her in the bottom 3

IA with what everyone else said. I think Melinda kind of crossed the line with her comment. For one, she threw the innocent and completely nice image out of the window (something Jordin has kept). She could have just said that she appreciates what Simon has to say, now when she tries to act all "wow" you wonder if it is real or not.

I thought Chris wasn't that great either, but he wasn't bad. Blake was good and Phil was too surprisingly. Simon was right on as usual with all of his comments, especially calling Hayley out (she was bad and besides her legs she's not looking that hot any more must be too much make up). I think Hayley is out.

(1) Blake Lewis ---- by far the best tonight (I'd give him 20 instead of a 10). He's current and did have the best song pick and performance tonight. 1st time I've picked a guy as 1st place this season.

(2) TIE Melinda Doolittle ----- Very good as usual, but I'm starting to think she might do well on today's charts. She always has feeling in her songs. Was a little surprised that she did convey sexiness on "Sway".

& Lakisha Jones ----- Very good tonight too. She did "Conga" very well IMHO.

(4) Jordin Sparks ----- very good tonight as well. Nice to see her put her own spin on "Rhythm Is Gonna Getcha"

(5) TIE Chris Richardson ------ good, but I don't think he followed Jennifer Lopez's advice to sing in higher key, which he should've done.

SHOCKINGLY ----- Sanjaya Malakar ----- he was actually quite good tonight. Color me "SHOCKED!"

(7) Phil Stacey ---- again, pretty bad. I think he's only still in this competition because he's in the military. I think Republicans are voting for him as Rolling Stone stated in their new issue I received yesterday.

(8) Haley Scanato------horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible ho, pitiful------karoke yes, tone-deaf. Agree with Simon, that you couldn't tell what she saying in half of the song and with Simon's comment about her not being able to wear much less. This thing should have been voted off weeks ago.

Crossed the line WTF??!??!? Melinda was dead on with Simon. Simon said just last week that he didn't think he'd get to critisize Melinda and then did so tonight. He looked pissed from the get-go, the camera showed him right whene she began. Simon was absolutley horrible to Melinda. She was very good as always. Most of Simon's comments (except for those about Blake & Sanjaya) were absolutley WRONG. His comments were as bad as Paula's were tonight IMHO.

But yea, regarding Hayley: if she had her skirt any shorter, id be able to see if shes a natural brunette.

I actually liked Phil's performance, and yes, his voice cracked at one point. Its called vocal strain. It happens. He still was the best of the night so far though.

I felt SO weird tonight because I LOVED Phil's performance, even got goosebumps like JenLo said, and was DEVASTATED when he got bad reviews.
