AMC

-For the most part of her writing tenures on AMC I have enjoyed Megan McTavish....

-In essence I thought giving Erica Kane a son was a good decision, just poorly executed (should have been Kendall's twin)

-Alicia Minshew is now Kendall Hart to me

-I thought Michael B. Jordon (IReggie) was a terrible actor and was relieved to see him gone from the cast

-Julia Barr is more talented then Susan Lucci

-I thought Lianca sucked and had no chemistry. Still respect what it did for daytime though

-I loved Bianca and Maggie together

-I love Zarf/Zoe

-I love Babe

Same here. I respect any actress who's stay with daytime long enough to be considered a veteran. I don't have to be a fan to respect their place in the industry and on the daytime food chain. Just like La Looch. I respect Susan's place in daytime, but I can't STAND her acting. The hair toss, bobbing her head everytime she talks, and just flat out not talking like any human being really talks. It's fun to watch, for "poke fun" reasons, but it's certainly not award-worthy, IMO.

Personally, I prefer Slezak when she's playing an alter, LoL.

I like Slezak. Is she over appreciated? Yes. Does she deserve every single emmy? Maybe. I personally don't know which tapes were submitted, so I can't make a real stong arguement. Atleast with Slezak I can see more range and vulnerability in her performances, compared to say Flannery, who is also highly overappreciated, as I stated in above post.

JEAN RANDOLPH! yes! Let Viki fragment out into little pieces again. I'm so tired of Niki but I prefer her to Viki.

I kind of wish this had been the case with Marlena Evans. That way it could be revisited within a semi natural storyline. I ADORE Dee. She's my older woman fantasy. Hey, she was ELECTRA WOMAN!

I'd be her DYNA GIRL.

But Deidre Hall has been phoning it in for years too. She's a goddess who should have a few golden ladies on her mantle by now , instead it's like she's given up.

Yeah, Deidre's awesome. I don't know what it is with her lately, though. She's not bad, she's just not great. It's like she took JER's hammy material and just soaked it all in.

I love her in these old clips, though (the rape).

Women don't even fight anymore. That was AWESOME! Thanks Kenny. I know I probably saw it but was too young to remember it in detail. No doubt SLEZAK got the EMMY that year too. *rolls eyes*

No slighting Slezak, she's awesome too, just that her EMMY legacy seems greedy when other winners have disqualified themselves (men only I think, too much to expect from us chicks)

Thanks again. loved (and hated) those clips

Okay, I have another one....am I the only one who looks at OLTL's Jessica and thinks blow-up doll? It's nothing to do with BW's acting or appearance. It's the character. All she does is react to various men in her life as they want to control her, do her, lust after her, attack her, come on to her, rescue her, protect her, etc. For a chick who's had multiple identities, she doesn't seem to have even one. It's always about what men want from her or what she wants (or says she does) from them. Geez, her kid has a nanny so get a job.

    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
