The story is literally too stupid to care about. Today, Bradski was talking about how he's lived the past twenty years worrying about his mother. Oookkaayyy...but Brad's been on the show for twenty years, so it's got to be thirty. And TIIC want us to believe some mean Nazis waited thirty years after WWII to slaughter Brad's mother and her family?

Then there's the sudden politically-correctness of it all. Rebecca sticks her arm out to show mean old Vic her faded tattoo. Vicki pipes up "ooh...that's right, you were in Auchwitz...", name-dropping the most infamous death camp like it's haute couture/history lesson. And even the reason Brad and Rebecca were spared is "we were delivering meals to the poor..". I guess just having a flat on the freeway wasn't noble enough? RME. It's just too many over the top details. And, btw...if there was anyone who'd not care about someone living under a new name, shouldn't it be Victor? It's not like he didn't hide his family story from the world for years.

I thought the same thing when Brad spit out the words "about twenty years ago". Hello LML Brad has been on the show for 20 years and before that he was married to another rich woman who came back and held him in a dungeon. Is Brad now De-Sorassed? No way are we going to buy that he is only 36.

Yeah, I'll "get over it" and so will the other 4 million viewers who help keep this show afloat and you will have nothing then! What an arrogant ass he comes off as. The s/l was stupid and a waste of time.

Exactly. He is a so-so actor, not God's gift to daytime. You can be easily replaced and find someone who can make your role worth while and make your acting look like child's play!

Telling fans, "You know what, get over it..."? Uh, what a bastard! How dare you tell people what they should and shouldn't like. We all have our own free minds and judgements to form our own opinions of things. How dare you tell us what we should think or feel! [!@#$%^&*].

It sounds like somebody has been attending the School of Eric Braeden Pontificating! Just add in the word "egregious" and he would have earned four HAPPYFUNVICTOR Smiley Face stickers. Don, you are not Eric Braeden, so just STFU! He seems to be really misinformed about the reasons why people don't enjoy his story.

SHEESH! Talk about a bad case of hoof-in-mouth disease! Yeah, DD, I'll get over it and pretty much have for weeks!

I don't mind Bradley being Jewish, but what I do mind is TIIC frontin' like Brad is such a little victim of his past that we're supposed to forget that he's an opportunistic, fortune-hunting man-whore who's always been "lucky" enough to marry "up."

That's just really rude. He definitely comes across as being arrogant. I find it really odd how, for the longest time, Brad has been a supporting character, and now he suddenly is headlining the show?? Also, mentioning that his character is the first high-profile Jewish male lead on daytime just bugs me. I don't understand why the show made such a huge deal about Brad really being Jewish. One storyline would have been fine, but the fact that they've been dragging it out all this time is too much. Besides, it's a little stereotypical and way-too PC IMO to associate Brad being Jewish w/ Nazis and the Holocaust.

Exactly. I took history in high shool. I've taken couses in college. I don't need a PAS by Y&R to get the point.

Also, at the point of being politically incorrect, I'm just going to state the following.

The holocaust is over. It's been over for a long time. When pricks like Mel Gibson go off, it does reveal deep hatred for the culture, but are people really killing over paintings? ;)

The Mona Lisa is arguably the most famous painting in the world and it spawned the Da Vinci code because it created a mystery around the artifact. But LML wants us to suspend our disbelief and believe that a manwhore who never once said "Nava Nagila" is now worried about people knowing that he's probably got a secret stash since it is a common misconception that Jews are rich.

The story would have worked better if Brad had been hiding he was Jewish and trying to be white, Italian or whatever he is. He could've simply been ashamed of his history and worked to live it down. But no. He's Jewman, avenger of lost painting.

Well, most have summed up my feelings about the story and the statements of DD.

All I have to say is, yes it is nice to have someone that is of another faith in soaps, but the reliquary reliquary reliquary (can't even spell) made me want to do nothing but snooze. And don't worry honey, I am over it... I choose not to watch when you are on.

    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
