I can understand the reactions to Chelsea. It was a bit clunkier and less subtly pulled off than I'dve liked, but so be it for now.

What I didn't like was Bo's "You can't trust her, she's a Lockhart" shpiel to Max. I don't like this whole "Everyone in a certain family is a certain way" mentality. I like the presence of family and values but I fear it becoming too clannish, too us against them, too judgmental. The Bradys stick together, they're MO is "tight-knit" but I hope they take care that it doesn't become too black and white. The Bradys were sometimes wrong, but they stuck together. That's their thing, as I see it. They didn't hand out judgments.

The Bradys have had to endure thirteen years of Sami being the family embarrassment and black sheep. Now they have Chelsea.

IF she had been more remorseful about killing Zach (not in a "he's my brother way" because she didn't have time to bond with him), but just because being remoresful is the human thing to do. She wasn't. She treated her light sentence like it was being sent to boot camp. How can anyone honestly expect people to forgive her so quickly? It hasn't been a year yet. And she thinks her newfound family is going to accept her so rapidly? Girl needs a reality check---a huge one.

As for Abby, let's see. Her parents are in London. Her aunt is recovering from near-death, and her uncle is an amnesiac who has no memories of her. Her cousin is still recovering from a car accident. Where in the hell was she supposed to go for Thanksgiving? Was she supposed to eat alone in Max's garage? Many families on Thanksgiving invite those that aren't blood-related.

I don't think all of the Bradys are clannish in their thinking, but Bo certainly is. While Mimi may have her faults, she is no way near like her mother or her brother. At least she is trying to be a better person and change her life. She isn't fighting to keep Shawn, she is moving on. Also, why does Bo care so much about Max's love life? He should be working on his own, thank you!

And many families would have the decency to invite the two people who saved their daighter/sister/in-law/mother's life.

I know Frances Reid can't appear that often but it sucks Alice wasn't there for Thanksgiving. She better be there on Christmas.

We hardly ever see Alice on Thanksgiving. The only year in recent memory I remember seeing her was in 2002 when practically the whole cast gathered at Tuscany for Thanksgiving after Hope was rescued from Larry.

Abby has family in the Horton's. She has Aunt Maggie and Gran and she has the Devereaux which would have been a perfect time for her to spend a few days with them. The Brady event didn't even feel right for her as she stuck out like a sore thumb, at least in my view. It would have been better to have left her off the screen in this holiday storyline. It certainly didn't earn her any points as I'm getting really tired of her making faces about being Chelsea's friend. She is rather two-faced. She either is or she should declare she isn't instead of making faces and snide remarks. Very unbecoming.
