Hope totally blew Chelsea off. Chelsea has never come forward like that before, which Hope could misconstrue for her wanting something out of it, true, but the fact that she did and on a family holiday and given the fact that she told Steve that she won't be the go between for he and Billie, what was the point of not telling Steve he has to wait, and that now isn't a good time? It was like, bye old Hope and hello [!@#$%^&*]!Hope.

Nick was wonderful.

I floved Frankie's goodbye speech. It seemed like a throw-back to his old days on the street, the way he didn't want it be all sappy and get too much attention drawn to it.

Mabby not happening? What are you smoking? Abby's jealousy is hardly throwaway! Mimi's not going to be around for very much longer, so Maxi is totally a spoiler to Mabby.

Celeste's got a personality again! Yay!

Really good episode.

Ok I think it's official, Days is in fact a family centric soap. Today's episode proved it.

THANK GOD! I'm so sick of seeing Celeste being seen as only the town psychic. Give the woman a life to go with the doom and gloom.

Even though Hope did excuse herself, it still came off as rude. Chelsea's emotions were obvious and Hope should have waited to listen to exactly what she had to say before going off with Steve. That could've prevented Chelsea from sending those pictures around. Then again, maybe its better Hope sees the picture.

I think its highly unrealistic to expect all 30 cast members to make an appearance during a single episode.

We can't have thanksgiving with Maggie without having to deal with the uncertain subject of "Where's Mickey?"

Lucas, Sami & Will had plausible reasons for not being there. I'd rather not have to see Will ...

It would have been nice to see Shawn there, but there wouldn't have been much for him to do, he's already been lectured about EJ, Belle, Willow and his Job enough times this week.

We got the Bradys for thanksgiving, and we know we'll get the Hortons for christmas. Fair trade off.

You make a good point about not having everyone show up. It's pretty realistic. Where I went to for Thanksgiving yesterday, one of the daughters didn't show up with her son and fiance, they spent the day with her future brother-in-law. Not all of the Bradys are expected to show up in one place; they'd have to clear out Chez Rouge for that.

Rachel does wonders with the character. I so hope she wins an Emmy as whatever her category should be. To me she is the most watch worthy of the cast along side of Steve. What a pair these two are. Of course, Nick will probably run away with it all in a few weeks LOL. He is so much fun. This may be the best thing Hogan has done for Days. I was disappointed with how Hope blew Chelsea off and blame that on the writers, because Kristian definitely reached out warmly to her so she wouldn't feel totally like her effort was not noted, however, Chelsea was too hurt to realize that and used it as the catapult for revenge. It will most likely backfire because Hope has got her brain back it seems. This is something I'm looking forward to playing out. The mending between Hope and Chelsea lies with Hope.

The Max and Frankie scene was touching. I saw the look on Abby's face (most obvious since the camera panned on it) and wondered again why she was even there. It wasn't her family and she should have been with her Great-Gran and the Horton tribe. I HATED that. It seemed so cold to have welcomed so warmly Abby and be so cold to Chelsea. Chelsea belongs to them. It is their responsibility as her family to give her support and understanding and help her find her way to living right and why there is a reason to live that way; what the rewards are and how precious they are. That is what families are for. The Brady bunch gets F from me on that point. I thought Shawn should have been there at least briefly. I thought Hope was the best she has been in months.

Exactly and Abby may have wanted to be with her Uncle Steve since he just returned this year.

Days explained the absences quite well unlike under JER when there was some stupid excuse. Thanksgiving is never a HUGE deal anyway. Christmas always seems to be much bigger and you will definitely get Horton's then.

Today's episode was solid.

Nick was great and I loved his little speech and his banter with Chelsea. Melvin is dynamite and her facial expressions are fantastic. Loved her scenes with Kate and Billie and the end was pretty good even though I hate that polot point. Hope was kind of [!@#$%^&*]y but I did see the arm extension and Hope did not seem rude to Chelsea when she first came in so who knows. I like that the awkwardness was still there.

The family scenes were great. Hogan said Frankie would not get much fanfare for his exit and I liked it that way. It fit with the character never wanting the spotlight. Loved it and I will miss the hell out of Warlock. Loved everyone reacting to his speech and I was pleased Max stood up.

Jealous Abby was good and I am liking the Mimi/Max interaction and how there is focus on Mimi dealing with the consequences of her lie (like when she first came in to the pub). Ashley Benson looked hot today.

SN was great and today was the most alive I have seen MBE. She has been great but she came off as more alive for some reason. I am more convinced then ever after today that Stephanie is a goner. She has so little purpose except for her parents.

Bo and Hope being flirtly was cute and Steve/Hope and their talks are good. Their friendship being remembered is something I love.

Loved Billie and Kate having no one to share dinner with  . Good scenes there. Made me feel good about both character's futures although moreso for Koslow's.

Loved Celeste actually doing more then getting vibes. Her scenes with Lexie and Abe had intensity and suspense to them. The Dimera presence is back full force and I love it. Loved Celeste with personality and great acting all around. When Theo came in and Lexie mentioned that "grandma was helping the bad guys," I was touched. Great scenes.

Good show for Thanksgiving.

As to Abby beign accepted by the Bradys and Chelsea not, I have one word for you: Zach. I sure forgive the Bradys for being cold, even if it's wrong on some level.

It's definitely wrong. Circumstance not only played a terrible tragedy with Zack and Chelsea, but the whole Brady family because they are Chelsea's family, too and the ones fate gave her to be her support to find a way to live with what she did in a careless mistake. It's not only Chelsea's to rise above, but the whole Brady family. It's their duty and a tragic one it be, but theirs nevertheless. They shunned it totally. Failed miserably.

I have to agree that the Bradys were uncharacteristically heartless. Then again, I don't really recall them being in this situation before, having to accept that one of their own killed a family member. (I may be forgetting something but at the moment, I don't recall that happening in recent years). So it's also an interesting angle. still, I don't like my Caroline as a stone cold witch. 'If you behave yourself'? Witch, please!!!

I don't think so... I mean, it's not like Chelsea was a part of the family forever. She has never been fully a Brady! So everyone hating her for killing Zack (and lying about it, and trying to let Billie take the blame, and trying to break up Bo and Hope and lots more) is not heartless. It's human!

I mean, come on... If some chick popped up in town and did stuff that Chelsea did and oh well turned out to be your granddaughter/cousin/stepchild that you never saw, would you hug her, buy her presents and say: Oh, lets forget everything!

Chelsea is sorry. Sure... but she didn't REALLY try to get the Bradys to forgive her. When she got her sentence, she was even nagging about having to do that!

Maybe I sound harsh and heartless, but I think I can understand the Brady family.

But I did LOVE Nick/Chelsea scenes! I was laughing and Melvin and Berris are great together!

Oh and did anyone got heartbroken for Abby, when she said Hi to Max and he was like: Hi, kid! and he face got kind of sad immediately? I was! But, here's to Mabby happening REALLY soon! :D

Oh, I understand where the Bradys are coming from -- much as anyone else could, objectively -- but it's still weird seeing Caroline being SUCH a witch to someone. I guess that makes her character round and not a flat, Miss Goody-Two Shoes, but still.

Yeah! I guess even Caroline had to be upset at someone one time in her life... :D :D

No, I did not get heartbroken at all. I loathe the idea of Max and Abby together. He is so wrong for her. She requires a man similar to her father and Max is 100 degrees from that. Wrong as wrong can be for her.

As for Chelsea and the Brady's, sorry, but it is a family's duty to rise to the occasion life throws them and in this instance it is a child long thought dead and found again. It was their job to take her into their fold and learn all they could about her prior life and give her the sense of belonging to them by sharing their life with her. That never happened at all. No one wanted to accept this wild child, much less try to enfold her into the family unit. Careful examination of the neglect of the Brady clan and then the inability of them to come to grips with the reality of their responsibility in helping her deal with the tragedy that affected the whole family puts them morally to blame in this tragedy which began with Chelsea's arrival into their family. The adults in her life have failed her miserably. Just because she is a difficult person doesn't alleviate responsibiltiy, in fact, they really needed to fight for her harder to show her acceptance and pride in being a Brady, a full-fledged member of the family.
