Okay so this is resolved okay in-universe for both shows.
On the Y&R episode that will air Wed. June 10 in USA,
it just aired Tues. June 9 day-ahead in Canada.
In that Y&R episode, this happens:

So it fits "in-universe" for the characters of both shows,
but the Canadian Y&R viewers learned of the BTG situation a day early.
However: my thoughts are that for USA viewers, this is going to be a bit weird since Y&R airs before BTG in most USA markets, so for anyone watching both episodes in broadcast order in the USA, the tornado will be mentioned to Y&R viewers an hour before the BTG viewers see the tornado begin.
But otherwise it works in-universe that nobody is in two places at once.
