It was bad, and Chloe I so want that Lana wannabe to die like yesterday. They retconned everything and instead Jimmy died. It was OBVIOUS she was the one who was going to die.

Now she won't even pay for her betrayal of Clark or anything.

Lana doesn't need to return, she's already on the show in the form of Chloe

What the heck happened to Lois?

This was a HORRIBLE finale. The season was pretty great and everything was leading to the Clark vs Doomsday fight and how lame did that turn out. I didnt get the ending either but then agian I havent been watching prior to last season

Some casting news for Season 9(don't scroll if you don't want to know):

Brian Austin Green has been cast on Smallville as the DC Comics villain Metallo, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

That's right — the Terminator alum is now playing a cyborg himself.

Green will appear as the kryptonite-powered villain (alter ego "Daily Planet" journo John Corben) in at least the first two episodes of Season 9, which kicks off Friday, Sept. 25.

The finale just...failed.

I liked the Lois/RBB convo, I liked Lois/Tess, and Welling I thought was fantastic both in the RBB convo with Lois AND the last scene with Chloe (who I wanted to strangle). His face when he said he couldn't find Lois anywhere was just...heartbreaking.

I HATED that Lois was sent off so early in the finale (though maybe she was lucky lol) and Chloe irked me immensely.

About the casting news, that should be awesome!

Here's more on it (spoilers included)

I will say at least that they have some pretty good set up for next season, though.

What I always hated about this show and what ultimately turned me off completely is that you couldn't rely on a single person. Lex was good, then he was wicked, then good again and so on. Lana, Chloe, Clark... Everyone. At any moment they would reverse it and the person you thought was good even though he/she was (pretending to be) evil would actually be - evil. Generally, ambiguity is good, but it wasn't written properly here and it was overdone. There was... Something about it that just annoyed me. Big time.

Then the whole Lana/Clark love story took toooooo much to start/develop, it was painful to watch.

So I can say I hated this show. :)

Seriously, on a shallow note, Smallville has the prettiest cast lol.

Tom Welling, Erica Durance, Justin Hartley, Allison Mack, Cassidy Freeman, and Callum Blue - WOW.

And after seeing the season 9 preview clip, I can't WAIT for September!

The cast seemed like they had a really good time at Comic-Con, and they seem to have a lot of fun on the show. Oh and I LOVE that Welling was made a producer. And he'll be directing two eps! Also thrilled about Erica's episode count for season 9!

WOW....what a premiere!

Callum Blue is freakin' awesome as Zod. Tom was fantastic as a 'trying to give up humanity but can't quite do it' Clark. His expression when he saw Lois on the train? ::guh::

BAG was amazing as Corben!

Lois' flashes? HOT Clois sex, and then all that destruction? And Clark wearing the Zod symbol?

This season is going to be so awesome.

You know, I got why Chloe requested Clark use the ring to bring back Jimmy, and I know she was upset he didn't but she was a little harsh.

Shirtless Ollie is always a nice sight. Love how Lois didn't feed his pity party. She's found her real hero :)

I thought the effects were really great, the train catch and Clark diving off the Statue of Liberty were really well done.

    • This better be something, because as I said, so far it's just cliches and stereotypes -- the story we've heard a thousand times about the homeless person who doesn't want a home and prefers to live on the streets.
    • @rsclassicfanforever thank you very much for the recent uploads of season 13 containing some episodes that were skipped or glitchy on YouTube!  I had a look at 3172 though and there is no audio for most of it? Would you have a copy with complete audio? Fingers crossed! Thanks again!

    • I like Margaret well enough in what I've seen of her as Paige - she is green but she has real star power.  I agree about the actor who plays Brian. He's...mostly just there. Not bad but not great.  My main issue is with the guy who plays Owen. He's just not appealing to me. I can believe Nola being obsessed with him, but he's draining to watch.  I'm surprised people objected to the quasi-incest elements as it wasn't anything that new for soaps.  Speaking of Kim, here's a rare episode of an anthology show she did called The Evil Touch.

    •   I get what you're both saying, and I think the show was lucky to have even made it that long, but I think they could have still maintained a certain audience - Second Chances did before the earthquake. CBS was an older network anyway. I think the premise of Knots was still usable, it was more the characters who were a problem - many of the older figures were played out. If the show had done a better job building up its younger cast instead of making so many poor choices in the late '80s and early '90s, they could have kept things going a little longer.
    • I wish I cared about the homeless lady as much as everyone else seems to. After the nothing burger that was the lawsuit, this just feels like another boring Naomi storyline at Orphy Genes since she has no office.
    • That's great to hear. Thanks. I wish that was more readily available.
    • Just learned that Clifton Davis wrote this song!  I had no idea.

    • I think even if Marland had wanted to write more for Sara/Adam, his hands would have been tied as Robert Milli was one of the actors dumped by P&G due to his age.  From the bits and pieces I've seen of that period, Sara does have a key role in the Carrie plot, and Marland briefly gave her son Tim a more important part. I'm not sure if they just gave up on Tim once Kevin Bacon left or if they never really cared. I did not even know for many years that there was an actor in the part after Kevin...and then not one, but two. The Spauldingfield video on Tim doesn't even show the last actor (Nigel Reed), which kind of says it all. Anyway, I do get the sense Marland has some use for Sara, or for Millette. It's only after he goes that she is dumped. Of course he didn't ever hire her for his other shows, so maybe I'm wrong. (then again he never hired Geraldine Court either and he seemed very fond of her) Ann is an odd character to me as she is a proto-Lillian in being defined by pining for a Bauer brother and being involved in the death of one of their wives. I do wonder what else they could have done with her. She was friends with Diane, wasn't she? They could have had Diane manipulate her against Mike, I suppose.
    • Yassss....come on Maurice and Brandon...give us nothing!!! Wow, their need to develop their craft shone like a blinding light this episode. Brandon in his Martin and Smitty scenes sounded like he was reading and the facial expressions were giving Disney Channel. He did much better against Maurice in the Martin v Ted scenes. Now, Teddd-dyy (Dana's voice) was just flat. I watched the episode just now after reading the comment on here that Maurice needs to stop swaying, and now I can't unsee it. Has it really been this bad all along?  Ambyr carries. I don't need to say anymore. I am kind of excited to see this Kat/Tomas/Eva stuff play out.  Bill is such a dick to Dani. Like that's the mother of your children that you cheated on with your daughter's best friend but you look to take those low blows. Lord! When he said that thing about it being obvious he didn't care about Dani anymore since he was the one that walked out...that was cold. I even felt for Dani. Bill definitely is all over the spectrum. You can see a villain possibly surfacing, but you also see this great father. The elder Duprees move a little funny. I'm wondering what that is all about. Are they just overly protective matriarch and patriarch because they think it's what's best for their family, or are they afraid their secrets will come out or there's something more sinister there. Why would Vernon want to keep that information from Martin?  I hope something interesting comes out of this June stuff, but as of right now, I'm not too invested. It's not helping my interest on Naomi or Jacob either. However, tge actress playing Naomi has comes a long way from day one.
