I will check that one out. He is almost certainly someone who could take a live format by storm.

Not sure if any of you are fans, but Natasha Lyonne is hosting the season finale.

There is as always speculation about whether some of the current cast will finally start to leave, but  we'll see...

It was definitely time for these people to go. Similar to Kenan, I got real sick of McKinnon being force-fed into almost any and every sketch whenever I watched. I don't care how talented someone is, they don't deserve that much focus.

Kate McKinnon leaving is going to be a huge hole in the show.  Also will miss Pete, Aidy & Kyle.

I am finding it hard to believe that she's really leaving! I mean she surely has stayed longer than someone as talented as she is, would usually. So, why now? Anyway, fond farewells!

Yeah, even on Peacock, I just got "McKinnon-ed"-out. She's extremely talented, yes. But, too much overexposure on a performer or a series tends to make me not want to take interest. For example, American Horror Story. When everyone and their great-grandmother started jumping on the bandwagon with that show, I just couldn't watch it, lol! I really couldn't.

It’s a fascinating, down-to-the-wire choreography as the SNL crew removes the cold-open set during the opening credits.

That was cool to see.

I thought this season was really good with the new cast members and new writers.   The big standouts for me were Sarah Sherman (her quirkiness, and her segments on Weekend Update with Colin Jost), James Austin Johnson (his Trump impression), and the Please Don't Destroy guys.   I also liked Aristotle Athari when he got a chance to shine, but he didn't get many opportunities, not like Sarah and JAJ did.

I though Chris Redd got more and I hope that will continue.  His first sketch as Mayor Adams was one of the best from this season.

I've always liked Pete from the beginning but it still amazes me how big he is now, in pop culture.  I'm going to miss his music video segments.
