Color me shocked, but I absolutely loved the premiere episode. Orson's boring ass is FINALLY gone and the Brian Austin Green thing looks like it might be fun. I would say my only major disappointment was, like Cheap said, how they handled Gabby's reaction to Bree's news. However, there was something quite touching about both Gabby and Carlos keeping a big secret from each other at the same time. May I also say... Ricardo Antonio Chavira looks HOT. Susan becoming a semi-prostitute is good, trashy DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES fun, although I can see this turning sour pretty quick. Loved Vanessa Williams. I felt she imbued Rene with her own mannerisms etc so it wasn't as if Whilemina just moved on to Wisteria Lane. And, after what was perhaps one of the most exciting season-ending cliffhangers of the show, Paul continues to be riveting. Same goes with Felicia, whom I have wanted to come back for a long, long time. She's just wonderful. I'm loving that this year seems like it's going to be all about Paul's revenge and Felicia's revenge. Great! If they can find a way to get Felicia out of jail, even better!

I LOVE the Gabby story. Its the best one on the show. Im glad they gave her a more serious story this season as opposed to the comedic hijinks shes used to. It wasnt a smart move of hers to go behind Carlos' back. I can understand how it would torture he as a matter always wondering about ehr child, but she didnt think about the ramifications, meaning they could lose Juanita. She should have told Bob that Carlos doesnt know. Obviously being on the same street, he'd run into him and talk. And when did Juanita and Gabby have such a great relationship? That girl was horrid to her for the past 2 seasons and so was Gabby but ever since this one started, its been all lovely and perfect and before Gabby found out the truth.

When did Bree become such a prude? She was in season 1 but she let that all go and changed with the 5 year jump. This is the same woman that was getting all sexual and having an affair last year but now she dresses like a nun and acts all modest? Puhleaze. I liked Renee in her sphere bc Im liking her interacting with someone other than Lynette. Those 2 could make good frenemies.

Lynette. I always hate how controlling she is of Tom. Im sick of her always manipulating him and acting like his mother, as opposed to wife.

Susan has the dumbest story this season. Men are really paying her to just do chores in sexy lingerie. Really? Yeah right. She's a tease and with something like that, they'd expect her to be naked. I think the show is trying to avoid crossing the line and making it porn. Thats the only way it would make sense bc I dont see her making a bunch of money just prancing around in her underwear

Dont know what Paul is up to but that wife of his is a dummy. I dont get that woman. I wonder if his son will come back this season. Its shocking he hasnt been heard of since about season 2 or 3, considering he's Mike's bio kid

I agree that this Gaby/Carlos baby switch storyline is really good. If it turns out it that it wasn't Carlos/Gaby's kid that was switched, it would be a waste of time because we're seeing the emotions/actions that they're going through. You can't throw that all away.

Eh I'm not really warming up to Vanessa Williams here. The baby switch story is interesting I want to see how it goes but I do think Eva has really stepped it up as Gabby in this story. The Paul Young story is fairly lackluster so far, I don't understand Beth Young at all unless she is

So far its an okay season, at least its not all about Susan and her this weird story they are giving her this season.

How good was tonights episodE?

Best in a looong while. Who shot Paul?

Lee? That's just too easy. Bree? She had a gone, but I don't know why she would have.

IT seemed like there wasn't anyone close enough to shoot him with a pistol...Seemed like it was a different type of gun.

I think it might have been Beth.

    • I have taken extremely long breaks from the show because of Sonny and I didn’t watch in the 90’s so I didn’t realize this was a crutch the show used all the time. Hell even though Maurice hates it, it was the most I could tolerate Sonny because he was written as the ass.hole he actually is at his core. His meds working again don’t erase all the characters I’ve either liked or accepted that I had to watch he and Jason murder and somehow come out as the good guys.
    • When I saw the pic of two kids on a stoop, I immediately though it was Samantha and Tyrell but that could be a red herring. The picture is quite old so maybe it is Hayley and June. This would help to bring Naomi back into Hayley and Bill's orbit. If June is Tyrell and Samantha's mother, that story would seem to be a dead end - unless Martin and Smitty adopted them through improper means.
    • I would DIE if Shanice’s mom lived beyond the gates and was just as messy I loved her so much. Give. Me. More. Absolutely loved this scene. Looking forward to more bonding between them. She is such a find. If her agents are smart, they’re booking her on bigger things as soon as possible. I want to see her blow up. She is THAT good to me. Ambyr and Trisha are the stars of this show for me and why I watch. Bingo. This show actually feeling like a soap that moves has made it so hard for me to watch the others anymore. I love you Thank god you said this. I wish we’d stop taking the bait but this needed to be said. White male leads cheat ALLLLLLLL the time. But this poster seems to think omg two black men that cheated decades apart are about to set us back somehow. I’m about to add them to the ignore list with Donna, I’m sick of the baiting. This was perfectly stated. Preach my friend, preach. As for yesterday’s episode I loved it. The show is handling the fall out from the Eva reveal so damn well for me. And I LOVED that Ted final scene holding Eva’s hand. I guess I’m in the minority since the recast announcement was made but I will miss Maurice and his chemistry with all of his costars as Ted and really wish he could’ve played the entire fall out of the story.
    • I would love to see it as part of a backlot shopping district where characters can bump into one another in a more natural way. Lately there has too much getting up and leaving then coming back during meals at Orphey's and Uptown. It's becoming a distraction. There could be shops, more restaurants and a coworking space. All of the "you will never be a Dupree" lines definitely are pointing to this. This is one of my favorite stories. I love stories about show business and MVJ has a background in the music industry so I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes. Anita instigated the breakup - we have already seen her mean streak come out with Hannah and Eva. I expect one member (she called Sharon today) to be holding a grudge and another member (Tracy) to be somewhat bitter but more open to the idea of a tour, playing the role of peacemaker between Anita and Sharon. Maybe Sharon will pull a Mary Wilson and write tell-all about Anita.

    • I would have been more impressed if it hadn't been built on a con (Sonny's meds already being used to make sure he would be exonerated later on). The show has been doing this dance with Sonny since the mid '90s, including Mulcahey's previous stint. I almost prefer them just being honest, as Laura doesn't have a great deal of integrity to lose anyway. The problem is Sonny is just completely spent as a character. If he wasn't, we wouldn't have to see this comment from Laura again and again. He would actually be doing something on the canvas. Instead, he's written like he's already dead. If only.
    • It seems like Steve actually enjoys scenes with Jane.  I really think Steve has just mellowed out in general and is more open to doing what is asked.  He's not 30 anymore so he's probably just happy to keep getting work especially after the whole Covid situation. If he ended up with Brenda I wouldn't complain either lol. You probably won't get that 10% out of me, but I may consider if you drop the Jordan love haha!
    • I'm sticking to my theory that June is Hayley's sister (maybe a cousin since this show showcases cousins). Hayley really needs someone else to interact with because her being isolated to just Bill is not working. Eva only seems to have a backbone when it comes to Kat. She had no problem rubbing it in her face that they are sisters. Sharon hanging up on Anita was a good little nudge for that storyline. At least one of them having a name is promising to them actually showing up.
    • Reviewing the 1985/86 sophomore slaughtering and sophomore surprise. The Cosby Show 23 of 25 episodes finished #1 in their original broadcast, one episode finished 2nd, and one episode finished 3rd. Murder, She Wrote 18 of 22 episodes were the highest-rated drama in their original broadcast and 19 of 22 episodes were CBS's highest-rated scripted series in their original broadcast.
    • I really enjoy Tracy and Jason together as well in scenes. I’m a sucker for the surviving older Quartermaines, it’s just crazy that it took this long for a producer to tell Steve Burton we don’t care what you want, you’re a Quartermaine, get the [!@#$%^&*] over it. Murders actually solved in Port Charles? Hell no. The people in town don’t care so we’re not supposed to. God if they did this to usher Sonny off it would be the best episode of GH I’ve ever seen. I’d never complain again. I will never stop trying to get that 10% out of you It was so so good. There was so much promise. New old writers came back in and immediately said f.uck that, Sonny is a hero. You are not alone when it comes to Harper as Jordan. It’s a lonely island of 2 but you’re not alone. I enjoy her and especially with the new doctor.   Most of his time on this damn show has just been him in a hospital bed over a football injury we never even saw happen .
