No, I'm pretty sure that blonde was Edie's sister. You could be right though. Edie's sister could come on for the funeral, but I believe she's going to be part of the cast next season. I don't know if she's going to take over Edie's spot, ala Felicia. I hope they wouldn't do Nicolette that way. Finally give her story and then kill her off. That would be horrible.

It would be horrible Drew, and I'd be PISSED. It took THREE seasons for her to get a REAL storyline (being a bitch to Susan in Season 1 doesn't count because it was never a true triangle) and then have them kill her off?

And have it be kept a secret?

Wow.

I dunno what to think. I want her back badly next season but then at the same time, it'd be kind of a let down to go through that huge WTF moment as Edie kills herself and then have her be alive....

lol.

I can't believe Edie was so crazy for Carlos that she'd kill herself. If she's really been killed off, losing Nicolette Sheridan is a detriment to the show. I'm sure she would have enjoyed staying for years to come.

I think Carlos will find Edie before she "dies". I haven't heard a peep about Nicolette not coming back.

I doubt Edie is really gone from the show. I'm sure Carlos or a returning Austin will find her. She'll be rushed to the hospitalwhere it will be discovered that she's pregnant but the fetus will be sick since she was such a boozer. But if she's really dead, oh well.

As long as Bree is on the show, all is right with the world. I love what a manipulator she is. I figured out her true agenda by the half hour mark but it was still priceless to have her remove the padding.

Lynette's mother really gave it to her. I can picture Lynette saying to her mom that her cancer was a punishment from God. Kayla is such a brat. Give the b-a-s-t-a-r-d away to child services. Or Carlos since he wants a child so badly.

Mike and Susan's wedding really must've been blink and you missed it because I turned away for a second and they had moved on to the next scene.

I think Edie really is dead.

It was a good episode. I loved the weddings, and Lynette's mother was awesome.

I get why edie attempted suicide, carlos is the first man she actually allowed herself to be emotional with add that with her insecurities and there you have it. I don't think it was about being in love with carlos, it was more about her insecurities. An the only way edie isn't dead is if carlos or a neighbor sees her through the window and rush in, the writers would pick hanging yourself for her suicide attempt, a death that can kill you in a matter of minutes.

Edie better be alive. Or I'll be hella pissed. Here I was hoping it was going to be Mike who bit the dust.

no she hasnt. Edie has never been shown to be suicidal about anything and she usually has a whatever attitude. Carlos is jsut sex and its not like she's in love with him. I dont like the direction they took this. He doesnt want her anymore, so she commits suicide? Edie would have picked herself up and moved on over to the next man

Um, actually, Edie admitted she's in love with Carlos... so...that may be why. Although, like many, I'm hoping it's a fakeout. Perhaps it's even another scheme -- somehow, to get attention.

First off I'm so glad Bree is back...Marcia Cross looked radiant, and i love the fake pregnancy storyline..Thats so something Bree would do...Gabby's wedding was fun, i'm glad she found out what an ass she married...And Lynette's mother was great, I'm going to enjoy her run on the show...But the end...HOLY CRAP...Eddie is dead people, DH needed a shocking cliffhanger to create buzz and excitement for the show again and this was perfect..As sad as it is to see Nicolette Sheridan leave the show, if they aren't going to use her properly this was a good choice..

I can't believe that Edie is dead! Nicollette Sheridan had really made it such a special role, and Edie killing herself doesn't really do anything in the long run that's more interesting than having Edie. Besides, isn't this sort of re-doing the pilot episode, where the narrator killed herself?

Horrible decision. Out of the 5 main housewives, Edie was not the expendable one....
