Is ATWT camera the same as AMC's now?

No soap is stupid or desperate enough to start emulating anything AMC is doing.

I'm sure its temporary and storyline-specific.

I like the camera work for the location portions of this storyline. In the manner of the entire storyline, I think the show is going for that classic low-budget slasher movie look. This is *so* an homage to the classic Friday the 13th. Hell, there was even a shot of the kids jumping off the pier into the lake (just like in the original movie). I'm just surprised that no one brought a dog. Hmmm.... I wonder where Crazy Ralph is.

 So because they have kids at a lake cottage place and they show them jumping off a pier at one point it must be a hommage to Friday the 13th? Cuz before that kids never jumped off piers into lakes :P

But ya I agree with you--and it's even more like classic Friday in that so many of the cast are newbies or people we don't care about the most interesting thing won't be who gets killed but what eventive way they're killed ;)

I don't get how AMC's camera work can make anyone's head hurt or make them queasy.... the shaking could be cut down but you guys must have weak stomachs if it has that effect LOL.

Lol agreed.

I'm extremely sensitive to everything: smells, ups/downs, weather changes etc. I get queasy very very easily. And it has not bothered me once.

Well, I wasn't used to it. It was the first time I saw it, so forgive me for even saying anything. :( Besides, I said my head hurt (b/c my eyes were straining to concentrate so much). I didn't feel like I was going to throw up or anything like that. :( It's really not funny.

If ATWT copies this idea, they're complete morons. But again, I really don't think they're copying it.
