NY and 16 other states filed against this a few months back. I imagine if they attempt to proceed, the case will be bumped up. Oh and for THOSE WHO HAVE NO CLUE OR DON"T READ, congress already receives insurance through Obamacare. THat was a mandate when the ACA was passed. Oh and for something so bad, they kept themselves exempt from any new healthcare bill proposed and decided to keep Obamacare for themselves. The elites and takers in this country are sitting in the Capital and The White House, not in communities

Read this thread. Very enlightening about Susan Collins and the mistake the senate made by not including her. The trolls never really address that despite the problems OBamacare had, it was a plan and mapped after Romneycare. But it was a PLAN based on a belief that all American deserve affordable health care. Yes there are problems with it. No one said there hasn't been but all this disastrous effort showed of the GOP is their only belief is giving tax breaks to their donors. Trump has no ideology, no plans, for all his bluster, just an empty suit following the path of those "elites" he chastised. The ones Americans claimed they wanted change from. i listened to Chhris Kennedy the other night talking about the time he was born and how we need to get back to government being used to help people as FDR did, as Eisenhower did and so on. That all changed with Reagan and we got glimpses of what's possible with Clinton and Obama. Imagine if we had a government filled with people who all believed this and who debated on philosophical issues not hatred.

Majorities in the House, Senate, the White House, breaking senate and house rules to pass, try to pass these monstrosities and the GOP still flopped. Say what you want about Peloai and Reid but they got it done. And through the standard legislative process and numbers.

This is fantastic. At least for now. Apparently his vote was decided hours ago. The AZ Governro who has been silent up until now had spoken with McCain over the last several days discussing this.while both agreed the ACA is problematic, they also agreed the GOP bills were far worse.

I saw that. I can't believe it. I may actually regain some respect for McCain. Maybe he sees this as his last hurrah.

So the CBO indicates premiums will increase by 20% a year each year from 2018 to 2026. That's going to make the sabatoged premiums under the ACA look like pocket change. i do wonder if any of these geniuses know Rubios only claim to fame was getting the reinsurance payments to the insurance companies blocked out of the ACA, which sabatoged the ACA. It forced insurance companies to raise premiums because the original obligations committed to ins companies through the bill were no longer being met. Oh and our GOP congress was responsible for doing that.

the funny part is none of these trolls can defend anything on its own merits. It's Obama did this, Clinton did this etc. Nothing about the current anything without deflection. But we were promised orange Julius was better? i don't think the Russia stuff and other things happening will matter in 2018. Women being prohibited now from going to Planned Parenthood for cancer screenings and treatment(a renewed war on women), old white men overturning what the first black president accomplished, and middle class families who rely on the ACA and the marketplace for their insurance, these people being hurt are certain to get those voters riled up. Taking away healthcare is going to matter.

FIX OBAMACARE. Your trolling is tiresome. We aren't talking about Obama we are talking about what your president promised when he campaigned and this is worse and he lied. Can you actually defend the orange buffoon without deflecting to Obama or Clinton. done . I promised myself I wouldn't engage with people who can't think logically and are just here to troll. OT: So by the way the HEALTHCARE bill cuts 14% from the CDC because I guess infectious diseases are a thing of the past. Seriously these are the same people who let folks die from Zika while playing political football with money needed for it.

Well congrads.. Rather than fixing it you'll now have premiums even 20 percent more then what u currently cannot afford. This is the better healthcare for everyone and cheaper healthcare Americans were lied to about. But this atrocity will be celebrated as a success because the person who lied about it doesn't care about anything other than a win for himself. All enabled by the elites and real leeches and takers in this country, the politicians in congress and the White House.

I was at a meet and greet with Chris Kennedy who is running for Governor here in Illinois(we have several viable decent candidates in Illinois) and he eluded to this but put it in a more politically correct way, tying it to their feelings of being left behind. He also told stories of his grandmother Rose who's father was the first Irish mayor of Boston, faced discrimination. Jobs open but not to "micks" were signs typically on display, It's hard to be thankful for Trump, but he did say imagine a much more qualified and adept person with his so called beliefs as president, someone who on the surface pretended to reach across the aisle and reach out to others. Trump's ineptitude in some ways is a blessing because someone much more astute politically(see Reagan) we'd be in real danger. Look at the damage Reagan led.

You know it's coming if he needs to gin his base up after firing Sessions. Remember when he said he wouldn't cut Medicaid and HE had a much better healthcare plan? His word means zip.

That's true. It's ironic isn't it that the GOP used this for 7 years successfully to gin up their supporters and when they actually now know they have an idiot in the White House who will sign it into law, they get cold feet. Boehner obviously knows this more than anyone. He was part of it. Easy to do stuff like that when you know the person sitting in the White House will veto. What pathetic cowards. They have one plan. Giving tax breaks to the elites outside of D.C. along with their own elitist butts sucking off the social safety net protections they have as representatives, leeching off of our tax dollars. And all the blue states where none of these idiots live continuing to put more tax dollars into the federal gvmt than they get back while the red states suck us dry. If their policies are so successful why do they need this and why did Kansas voters finally vote out all the state leeches in favor of paying more in taxes to save their infrastructure and schools. Same thing is happening in Wisconsin and same reason why LA elected a democratic governor.

No they haven't voted on repeal only yet. That's coming today.

So let's get McCain off the pedestal. After his grandstanding and the press salivating over him, and many hugging him on the floor, guess what he did last evening. He votered YES on the BRCA(Obamacare replacement). Even Lindsey Graham voted no. 10 republicans voted no and McCain was not one of them.

Thanks for sharing. This article resonates so much. While they love to blame women, immigrants, minorities for everything, the biggest problem is we live in a time and have for many years where white male mediocrity rules, Washington is full of them and one excuse after another as to why things are dysfunctional. All these men need to do is look in the mirror. They are incapable of competing with the rest of us so rather than try and improve themselves, they need to continually come up with ways to demean us and keep us down. Trump and his crooked family epitomize that, Unlike the Kennedy's though who definitely did have their issues, there is not one decent person who wants to do anything good for anyone other than themsevlves among them,

Tom Nichols a hard line GOPer has taken a ton of heat on Twitter for his stance and saying that despite the economic anxiety crap that Trump voters are ignorant and racist. He really doesn't care what people say or think to him. He said the latest move on healthcare is proof positive these people care about nothing other than their anger, resentment, and bigotry. By the way so much #MAGA. Carrier laying off 300 on the 6 month anniversary of orange aide getting into office. http://www.indystar.com/story/news/politics/2017/07/19/carrier-lays-off-300-6-month-anniversary-trump-presidency/491205001/

I had to laugh. Just like "no one knew how complicated healthcare is" apparently "no one knew that France is our oldest ally, No one I guess who doesn't know our countriy's origin or the revolutionary war, And Marceline where did Trump promise to stop legal immigration Lord most of the small businesses are started by LEGAL immigrants, I guess these clowns want us to be like Japan who's suffering because.of their anti immigration stance and low birth rates, Seriously I am still waiting to hear about all those WWC morons going uout west to do farm labor work since those jobs seem to be plentiful now that undocumented folks are being herded to Mexico, Go on lazy white men get a fricking job and stop living off of MY tax dollars, This single white woman went to college and has paid taxes for years WORKING while these lazy asses sit at home watching Dr, Phil on my dime.

I know there are some who don't think AARP is that big a deal but they gave a hug membership and lobby. Every person in my moms retirement community is an AARP member and actually does read their monthly magazines. Don't believe for a second they aren't going to be using their infrastructure in 2018 and after.

I guess it's no surprise we have some of the dumbest people representing us in Washington. Someone who doesn't understand basic supply and demand. And even coal miners know their jobs are shrinking. This is the biggest known fraud these folks are pushing.
