Free speech has consequences. Same reason employers now look at your facebook pages and twitter accounts before they hire you. They should have worn hoods if they didn't want consequences.

David Duke was on TV saying that they are following through in the promise of DONALD TRUMP and taking their country back and they are just getting started. But hey look at the Watergate quote list and I am sure you will see something that says "That guy was a McGovern supporter". Dude is a registered republican. All I need to know. Let me guess. This will be another one of those so called "troubled" white guys. Me - he looks exactly like I thought he would. Another George Zimmerman and Dylan Roof- The Politics Thread
Well this may sound very cynical in light of this tragedy, but I don't ever want to hear one more word about downplaying identity politics. Everything we have seen happen in the past 7 months has been all about identify politics. WHITE IDENTITY politics. And it also reinvigorates my anger towards that 52% of white women who voted for this monster in the White House.- The Politics Thread
WOW - Terry McAuliffe said everything you would expect the president had said. Not brag about job numbers he had zero to do with.- The Politics Thread
Can we send them to California to work those fields for the farmers who need field workers? I doubt any of them have done a decent lick of work in their life or have had to work for a damn thing.- The Politics Thread

Stop trying to tell people the GOP are not racist. Here are their followers. They also marched on a church last night yelling nazi epitaphs at the congregation. No doubt none of these so called "protesters" were tear gassed like BLM activitists. https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/charlottesville-readies-for-a-white-nationalist-rally-on-saturday/2017/08/10/cff4786e-7c49-11e7-83c7-5bd5460f0d7e_story.html?tid=ss_tw&utm_term=.e2b75212de0d- The Politics Thread

Honestly these people have no ability to engage. Just look at the Watergate excuse list people used for Nixon. One of them was " But Lyndon Johnson did ..." SSDD- The Politics Thread
My elderly mom cannot stand her. My mother lived through the polio epidemic as a child and had a brother who died from it. Every time she hears about Stein she says she needs to live through what an epidemic does and how it can actually kill people.- The Politics Thread
This may seem little but knowing people who worked this race in Iowa, this is a BIG deal- The Politics Thread
Now please where are all those WWC unemployed workers to take these jobs they insisted immigrants were stealing from them. Ropes rot in the fields while these supposedly unemployed folks do what? http://fortune.com/2017/08/08/immigration-worker-shortage-rotting-crops/?utm_campaign=time&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=social&xid=time_socialflow_twitter- The Politics Thread
Thanks for sharing. I have to remind people I talk to when they are still appalled that Trump has 76% GOP support, that at this stage in Watergate Nixon still had something like 89% support among the GOP. I love the talking points. Some of which we have seen here lol. Trolls now have a more comprehensive list they can pull from.- The Politics Thread
It's kind of laughable that 2 lame likely white guys believed they could intimidate a former MI-6 agent if that was their purpose. I'm pretty sure we know who commissioned it. It was one of the GOP primary challengers - I thought Bush did but could have been someone else. The good news just continues.- The Politics Thread
Oh I am convinced he is.- The Politics Thread
Knowing Trump's entire life and how he's sold himself is close to exposing him as one of the biggest frauds ever is the only thing that will matter to him and it will likely cause him to really go over the edge. Roy Cohn a horrible man and Trump's mentor was a homophobe(most homophobes are closet homosexuals IMO - as he was) and died from AIDS, ruined, broke, and alone. And... Senate blocks Trump from making recess appointments http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/345261-senate-blocks-trump-from-making-recess-appointments-over-break I have heard comments that perhaps this will lead to congress taking back some of it's power. The presidency has had more power than it should ever since congress ceded so much to Bush after 9/11 and we know how that turned out.- The Politics Thread
I don't know who's doing the ads for some for these folks running but adding onto Randy Bryce's fabulous ad in Ryan's district, take a look at this one for Amy McGrath who is running against Andy Barr in KY for congress. Another fabulous ad,- The Politics Thread
I don't know that we have enough people left in this country who really understand the horrors of war and the monstrous acts committed in the name of what's right, My uncle who has passed was part of one of the units that liberated Buchenwald concentration camp in Germany and he could never articulate what he experienced there, but I recall my aunt saying after he passed away that those experiences never left him. He could never goto a burial of anyone he knew who passed away due to memories that haunted him. It's easy to distance oneself, but here we all sit comfortable in our lives for the time being, with some of our own people celebrating undocumented folks being treated like cattle, forced into temporary camps before deportation, as if that is humane and somehow people here can justify the lack of humanity. We are supposed to be better than this. Or our contributions to turning Yemen into a wasteland with millions starving and the largest humananitrian crisis since WW2 something we helped create and all these white men and their toys think about is so what. We can kill millions of innocent people in North Korea without blinking an eye. What happened to the days when we believed dropping those bombs on Japan historically has turned out to be a horrible decision. When you don't learn from history, you are bound to repeat it. And for all the saber rattling of Russia, yes they have no moral high ground, yet it will be the US as it stands today that will lead to the destrouction of the world by relying on ignorant careless old white men ho get their jollies out of hurting people including their own.- The Politics Thread
That's hysterical considering the US does not have 785 diplomats in Russia per Michael McFaul former Ambassador to Russia- The Politics Thread
